Bulgur pilaf with pumpkin and minced meat in a multicooker Steba DD2

Ingredients

bulgur 1 ms
pumpkin (grate) 200 g
minced meat 250 g
bulb onions 2 pcs
garlic (cloves) 2 pcs
ginger root 3 cm
caraway 2 tsp
mustard (seeds) 2 tsp
hot pepper taste
turmeric 1 tsp
water 1.3 ms
salt

Cooking method

  • Start the FRYING program.
  • After the signal, add cumin and mustard seeds and heat until crackling.
  • Add finely chopped ginger and garlic, stir quickly, then add onion.
  • Fry everything, stirring occasionally for a few minutes, then move the vegetables to the edge of the pan and add the minced meat.
  • Fry the minced meat until the color changes, breaking the lumps with a spatula, and then add the grated pumpkin, salt, add pepper and mix.
  • Turn off the program. All this will take about 7 minutes.
  • Further. Sprinkle bulgur on top, smooth and add water.
  • The water will not completely cover the cereal, this is not scary, since during the cooking process, more liquid from vegetables and meat will be added.
  • Switch on the PORSE program pressure 0.3 time 7 minutes. After the end of the program, leave for another 5 minutes.

Whoa! What a beauty, I take it to bookmarks - I will cook! That's for sure. (It's just that my Shteba is now under repair - I'm waiting - I can't wait for her!) And such recipes with cereals are very valuable to me. Collect them! I adore Bulgur. Time and proportions are verified - and this is important. Thanks for the recipe!
Elena Tim
A!
Otte I understand - FSE is in place! Meat, I mean.
Gal, the recipe is superb. We really like bulgur pilaf, but I have never made it with minced meat, and I would never have thought of a pumpkin.
Thank you, druhh, for the idea. Our immediate plans for cooking are your Bulgur pilaf!
SchA, we'll finish the smoke, a full cauldron zhezh ...
Trishka
And I have never eaten pilaf from bulgur, does it look like your bulgur ???
And it is very interesting that pilaf, and not with meat - but with minced meat,
mamusi
Trishka, Ksyusha, bulgur - awesome groats - delicate tasty with some kind of creamy taste (some seem like rice). But this is a kind of wheat)))
Try it!
Trishka
Thanks, I'll try!

Gala, thank you, thank you, thank you for bringing us recipes with a little exotic for us, but very healthy cereals! Now bulgur, how fragrant!

Definitely for execution! Tuesday - quinoa, Wednesday - bulgur. Since

At least he looks like your bulgur ???
Xun, have you ever eaten wheat porridge? In, this is Bulgur.
Strictly speaking, bulgur is a cereal made from boiled water, dried and crushed wheat.
Svetlenki
Elena Tim, Thank you for the clarification! I also suspected that this is something very similar to wheat groats, now everything is clear.

I also suspected that it was something very similar to wheat grits.
Gyyy, we eat it all the time, but we didn't know that he calls us Bulgur.
True, wheat groats are usually finely crushed, but as bulgur, they go larger.

Gala, Galina, thank you, I just found out about this cereal. When I buy, I will definitely try. I also like to make pilaf with pearl barley, I think that I will like this recipe too.
Arka
Gala, very interesting pilaf! I keep looking at the bulgur, but I think that I would not want to make a banal mess. Now there is no question.
We need to defrost the lamb.
Thanks for the recipe!
Listen, my pumpkin is frozen in a small cube, rubbing - hemorrhoids. I think this is not critical. What do you say?
Gala
Girls, thank you for your interest in the recipe!

I will say, I envy you: you have a lamb ... And with a lamb it is great!

I have a small cube of pumpkin frozen, rub - hemorrhoids. I think this is not critical.
Nata, not critical. You can just chop it finely. She will then disperse in pilaf. I have several different recipes with pumpkin, tested, always good at it.
Trishka
Elena Tim, Lenus, we ate wheat, so I represent the Bulgur now, thanks!
How to buy - cook!
Gala
Ksyusha, you know, it (croup) reminds me of pearl barley even more, both in shape, and in roundness, and in smoothness
Trishka
Aha!
Trishka
Girls, and if you cook for 0.7, then hop? Minutes 5?
I cooked pilaf from rice for about 10 minutes in my opinion ??

Yes, and in what bowl is it better to fry without oil ???
Gala
Ksyusha, I don't understand, are you going to cook one bulgur or make pilaf?
Trishka
No, pilaf is kaneshna.
Gala
Make in a non-stick bowl. You can try it for 0.7 5 minutes. But I don’t know how it will turn out. I wanted the bulgur to keep its shape, so I did it at 0.3. I liked the result. Oil, of course, must be added a little before frying the onions.
Trishka
Mustache understood!

Gala, tell me, please, can this idea be applied to all "tender" cereals? (like rice, for example)? I am still afraid to cook rice in a multo - there it is so hot at 0.7 pressure ...

Sorry to be a little off-topic, but if you let it slip ...
Gala
Ksyusha, thanks for the report! I'm glad you liked it.

Sveta, this is only trial and error. I have Shteba recently, I still do not know everything about her. But I cooked rice at 0.7, it turned out fine, the main thing is proportions.

Gala,
Galina, thanks for the recipe! Delicious pilaf! For a long time I was going to cook it)). I liked the result very much. The pumpkin looks like a carrot in pilaf. I didn't have minced chicken. Cut the chicken breast into small pieces.
Arka
Finally I got to your pilaf
Delicious!
Made with lamb ribs, - mmmmmmmmm
Thanks for the recipe, Gala!
Gala
And with the ribs yummy!
Nata, I'm glad you liked it!

Gala,
I'll raise the topic.
Galina, thanks for the delicious pilaf! It is difficult to be limited to one plate.
Gala
Kate, I am glad that I like pilaf.
I need to do it too. I bought a bulgur and think what I was going to cook from it?
Svetlenki
Gala, I am very grateful for the pilaf
