Ingredients

Fresh frozen herring 750 g net weight
Canned pineapple 1 can
Salt 0.5 tbsp. l
Sugar 0.5 tbsp. l
Ground black pepper 0.5 tsp
Vinegar 9% 35 ml
Vegetable oil 50 ml
Bulb onions 2-3 pcs.
Mayonnaise 150-200 g; by consumption

Cooking method

  • Defrost the herring until the end, cut into fillets, cut into long pieces (if caviar comes across, I also send it to the salad, but the chickens eat milk). Drain the pineapple and cut into cubes. Onions - in half or quarter rings.
  • Boil salt, sugar, pepper and oil (for example, in the microwave), cool, add vinegar, stir.
  • Mix the herring, onion and marinade, add mayonnaise, then pineapple, stir. Cover, marinate in the refrigerator for 12 hours.
  • Delicious herring: tender, not salty, appetizing.

Time for preparing:

20 minutes + 12 hours
