Ingredients

broth (water) 2L
pearl barley 1/3 mstk
potatoes 2 pcs
carrot 2 pcs
bell pepper (optional) 1 PC
cabbage 150g
medium pickled cucumber 1 PC
fresh cucumber medium 1 PC
brine 0,5l
sorrel 150g
parsley (dill, their mixture) 50g
lemon acid pinch
salt, sugar, black pepper
sausages (boiled meat, sausage) 100g
bulb onions 1 PC

Cooking method

  • Our family has 2 of our favorite soups - pickle soup and green cabbage soup. The rest are also eaten with pleasure, but these are simply swept away. And somehow the idea occurred to me to creatively combine these soups. And so this recipe for "green pickle" was born. Cut the onion, grate the carrots and lightly fry. Put the frying, pearl barley into the broth, cook for 10 minutes. Add small diced potatoes and shredded cabbage and cook for another 7-8 minutes. We grate fresh and pickled cucumbers, finely chop the sweet pepper and add everything to the soup, pour in the brine and cook for another 5 minutes. Add chopped sausages (boiled meat, boiled sausage) and I also add my nasturtium capers, cook for another 5 minutes. Salt, add 1-2 tsp. sugar, citric acid and chopped herbs. Cook for 2 minutes and turn off. Let it brew for 10-15 minutes. Serve with sour cream.

Note

I cooked in Shteba's pressure cooker on the "Soup" program 0.7 for 10 minutes. I laid everything except herbs and citric acid, turned on the program. After unblocking, I added herbs and acid, mixed and left to go under the lid for 10 minutes.
