Ingredients

coriander (seeds) 0.5-1 tsp
cumin (seeds) 0.5-1 tsp
ginger (root) 2 cm
Bay leaf 2 pcs
salt taste
sugar 0.5-1 tbsp. l.
water 2.5 l
black pepper

Cooking method

  • I cooked the pickle in a slow cooker.
  • Prepare vegetables: wash, peel, dice or grate.
  • Rinse the groats, drain the water. I do not pre-soak the groats, I take the Barli variety (Mistral), it boils well. If you are not sure, you can soak the cereal in advance (in the evening), or pour boiling water over it half an hour before cooking the soup.
  • Switch on the FRYING program, after the signal, pour coriander and caraway seeds into a preheated saucepan. Heat them until they crackle.
  • Then pour in a little vegetable oil, fry the onions, then the carrots and celery.
  • Add chopped cucumbers, tomato, sugar and ginger. Stir, turn off the program.
  • Pour water into a saucepan, add salt and pepper, turn on the SOUP program, pressure 0.7, time 20 minutes.
  • After the end of the program, wait until the pressure drops, then open the MV, put olives, prunes and bay leaves in the soup.
  • Cover with a lid, let the soup infuse for another half hour.
