Ingredients

Beef meat (pulp) 500 gr.
Bulb onions 3 pcs.
Carrot 3 pcs.
Bulgarian pepper 3 pcs.
Vegetable oil 200 gr.
Tomatoes or tomato paste 3 pcs.
Salt, pepper, herbs, spices
Noodle dough:
Flour 2 tbsp.
Egg 1 PC.
water, salt

Cooking method

  • Hello everyone! today we will cook a soup called "Tomalak shorba", tomalak is minced meatballs, shorba is a soup.
  • Scroll the meat in a meat grinder. We take the minced meat and just torture it, beat it with our palm, mimic it, hit it on the table. The meat must become one whole. Add salt and spices, mix, cover and put in the refrigerator for rest. We put a cauldron or a saucepan with a thick bottom on the fire, pour in oil. Add carrots, peppers and onions to the hot oil in turn. All not cut into large cubes. We pre-fry each component. Add a paste of salted and pounded red pepper in a blender (If not, then it is not necessary) and tomato paste (chopped tomatoes, I used my own tomatoes in my own juice. After breaking through with a blender) we bring our frying to a state when the carrots become soft, add water. While it boils, cook the meatballs. We take out the meat from the fridge and, pinching off little by little, roll small balls (the size of something between nohut and hazelnuts), 100 meatballs come out of 500 g of minced meat.
  • Once the meatballs are ready, put them in boiling water. Cook for 20-30 minutes, add pre-cooked noodles. (How to make noodles can be seen HERE) add spices. Boil for 10 minutes and serve. Serve with herbs, sour cream or katyk.
  • P.S On the second day, the soup becomes even tastier.
