Rice with bean sauce

Ingredients

Long grain rice 125 g
Red beans 125 g
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Ginger root 2 cm.
Ground coriander 0.5 tsp
Garam masala 0.5 tsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Olive oil 2 tbsp. l.
Salt taste

Cooking method

  • Pour the beans with water and leave for 12 hours. Drain the water.
  • Pour the beans with new water. boil until tender (about 40 minutes). Drain the water, leaving 0.5 tbsp.
  • Rinse the rice, add water and boil until tender. Do not salt!
  • Cut the onion into half rings, peel and grate the ginger root, pass the garlic through a press.
  • Heat oil in a frying pan, fry the onion until soft, beat in ginger. garlic, salt, spices, fry, stirring occasionally for 3 minutes.
  • Add beans, stir, fry, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.
  • Use a crush to knead the beans into a paste (without fanaticism), add the decoction from the beans to the desired consistency.
  • Put the rice, beans on top, mix.
