Or is it on kefir the same?). I liked the taste. Compared to regular pancakes, these are some kind of more elastic - I wonder, because of the steeping or because of the whey?
I want to say separately about sourness and soda, although it has already been said on this topic, there is a lot of negotiation on this forum. I had no sourness, no soda taste. But I had very acidic whey. This amount of soda was enough to be completely extinguished by the serum acid, and the acid in the whey was just in the right amount - all was spent on extinguishing.
Whoever has sourness in the dough - well, add a little soda. For those who feel soda, add acid (you can dissolve a couple of citric crystals if you don't want vinegar; or add sour milk and adjust the consistency with flour).
