Couples in love can also find all the classic paraphernalia in stores, but in addition to the usual hearts, one of the favorite symbols of Valentine's Day among Germans is a pig figurine.
  • I decided not to put a pig on you, but to offer romantic hearts made of airy cream and strawberries with chocolate.
  • Beat butter with sugar. Add flour, oatmeal, salt, egg and knead to a smooth dough. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Roll out the dough 0.5 cm thick, cut the cookies with a cookie cutter. Bake at 160 ° C for about 10 minutes.
  • Soak the gelatin.
  • Whisk butter and condensed milk into cream.
  • Put sugar and water to cook syrup. Bring to 118 °.
  • Beat the whites and pour the syrup into them, in a small stream. Also pour out the melted gelatin. Beat the mixture until it cools down to 35-40 ° C.
  • Gently mix the cream into the proteins with a spatula. Pour into a frame, 1-1.5 cm thick.
  • Put in the refrigerator to solidify.
  • Cut out the "heart" shape from the cream, put on cookies, pour over with chocolate or caramel, decorate with berries.
