raisins 40 g
candied orange and lemon peel 60 g
rum (I have boiling water) 60 ml
cocoa powder 2 tablespoons with a slide
corn starch 60 g
milk 140 ml
baking powder 1 pack
oil 150 g
sugar 150 g
gingerbread spices 2 tsp with a slide
ground cinnamon 1 tsp
flour 250 g
vanillin on the tip of a knife
egg 1 PC
honey 2 tbsp

Cooking method

  • We continue preparing for Christmas! Another Christmas cake recipe looks more like a cupcake, so I post it in the cupcakes section.
  • Soak candied fruits in rum overnight (and now I pour boiling water over them and insist 1-2 hours, I liked it more, they are not very pronounced), you can also raisins, but I didn't. Rinse the nuts, chop a little and dry in a pan. Beat butter at room temperature with sugar until it grows and fluffy, add an egg, beat, add honey, mix. Sift flour, add baking powder, cocoa, spices, starch, vanillin. Mix oil and flour mixture, add milk. It is better to bake in a silicone form, the cake is very tender, it can crack. Cooking in an oven preheated to 180g for 40 minutes. Grease the chilled cake with any cream (I have a wet meringue, I wanted it to be "snowy"). Soft and delicate, of course spicy like all German Christmas pastries! Help yourself!
