brown sugar 135gr
white sugar 225gr
softened butter 230gr
eggs 4 things
vanilla extract 1 tsp
milk 300ml (better than 260)

Cooking method

  • For those who are not in the know - we all went crazy here with the Nordic Ware forms, so the recipe is native to this form)). Sooooo fragrant, sooooo spicy, New Year's / Christmas ... Getting ready for the New Year, training!
  • Preheat the oven to 165 degrees (I heated it up to 155 with convection). Grease the mold with butter and very easy to dust with flour. For this cupcake it is better to powder it. The dough can be very plastic.
  • Mix flour, salt, baking powder with all the spices. Set aside. Beat butter and sugar for 3 minutes until whitening, add eggs one at a time and beat on medium speed. Then reduce the mixing speed and gradually add flour mixture and milk. I took dark muscovado as brown sugar, and there is a lot of molasses in it, so I reduced the milk. But I also advise you, because the dough is very plastic.
  • Distribute the dough in the prepared form and bake for 55-65 minutes at 165 degrees. Take out the finished cake (the readiness is checked with a splinter / toothpick, which should come out of it dry) from the oven and let it rest in the form for 10 minutes, and then remove it.
