Cheesecake with halva

Ingredients

shortbread cookies 150gr
halva 300gr
butter 50gr
egg 3 pcs
sour cream 200gr
cottage cheese 200gr
dried apricots or other filler 250gr

Cooking method

  • Products per form 18cm. Grind the cookies with a meat grinder / food processor and combine with butter. If the cookies aren't very sweet, add a little sugar or powdered sugar. Beat in one egg. Stir. Put the dough in a baking dish, there is not enough dough on the sides, or increase the volume by 2 times, or leave only the base. Place the base in the freezer for a few minutes.
  • Halva, sour cream, cottage cheese, eggs, beat with a submersible blender until smooth. The filling should be smooth and liquid enough.
  • Pour half of the filling over the dough. Place dried fruits / nuts and cover with leftovers. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Decorate as desired. Cool, refrigerate overnight.
  • We take sour cream and cottage cheese fatter. I baked with sunflower halva, with peanut, I plan the next one with sesame, but I don't know when))) I liked it better with peanut! I always increase the number of products by 50% for a 24cm split mold. Moreover, for the peanut version, the amount of halva was increased by + 100g, i.e. 550g for a 24cm form, you should not increase the sunflower, it has a strong taste. It goes very well with whipped cream (for garnish).
