Green cocktail Sweet parsley (V. Butenko)

Ingredients

Parsley 1 bundle
Fuji apple 1 PC.
Banana 1 PC.
Dates 5 pieces.
Lemon juice * (to taste) + water 250 g

Cooking method

  • Cut the bottom tough stems of parsley. I cut right under the leaves.
  • If the dates are hard (like mine), steam them for 5-10 minutes with boiling water. Remove the bone.
  • Peel the apple from the core (you do not need to peel the skin). I did not have the specified grade. I took what was at hand.
  • * Instead of lemon juice, I brewed dried Japanese egg in the indicated amount of water for 2 hours. l.
  • Beat all ingredients with a blender until smooth.

PARSLEY - a spicy-aromatic biennial herb up to 1.5 m high with a white fleshy root vegetable, double- and triple-feathery leaves and small white flowers in complex umbrellas. Fruits are small gray-green two-seedlings with a bitter taste and strong odor (they contain up to 7% of essential oil). It is cultivated almost all over the world. Parsley has a pleasant smell, sweetish and tart taste. Contains essential oil, up to 10 mg% carotene, 150 mg% vitamin C (up to 35 mg% in the roots).

Parsley is used as a seasoning for first courses, stews, salads. Roasted roots and fresh leaves are added to the minced vegetables. Freshly chopped parsley is added to the dish just before serving, the root is put into the dish at the beginning of cooking. Fresh parsley greens can be used to decorate all kinds of dishes (salads, aspic, sandwiches and thorough). Dried parsley roots and leaves are included in dry vegetable mixes. For food purposes, the green mass is cut in June - August. It can be canned with salt in glass jars, tamping tightly. As such, parsley keeps well at room temperature or in the refrigerator. The fruits are harvested in July - September, dried and stored in a closed container. Parsley is grown in two types - leaf and root. The more common root parsley, which uses not only the root vegetable, but also the leaves.

The best varieties of parsley: Bordovician and Sugar.
