Lyudmila., wonderful photos! Wonderful tea! Thank you very much for the photo report!
Galina Iv.
Lyudmila, good afternoon, the bird cherry tea did not even taste good to me)), maybe the reason is that I took a thin frying pan, unlike previous dryers, and the taste of the raw material turned out to be a bit like burnt sugar ...

I froze the strawberries, rolled them with a rolling pin and froze them a second time.

Lyudmila, how does tea from irgi taste like?
Loksa
And yesterday I suffered with raspberries. I cut off my overgrowth leaves, it turned out a little - a couple of handfuls, but I carefully twisted them and that means on the way - I liked it - it smells like cannets (I already ran away from this smell); Well, I think ChiHas I'll turn around, I took it into the freezer, but it was not there, it froze badly, it was dry. I honestly turned it around until 2 am. And today - just for the sake of interest, I put it back in the freezer; because during the night only raw leaves were fermented (I went through them like Cinderella: wet-dry,: povar: dry-freeze). Well, I think it will be like in nature (frost at night, sun in the afternoon). These are the adventures. I went to the dacha-Duben here for me - at night 16 degrees. Everyone in T-shirts, I am picking off the leaves in the hat.
Loksa
And here is Lyudmila, And how I am 2 times in the freezer, oh then I have a break in the night
Loksa
And I am interested in Irga, I got it yesterday (I'm not greedy, I take a small bag) and remind you did you twist it in a meat grinder?

I have a lot of ideas, I am a person always going somewhere, I do not stop in place). There is such a plant as angelica, a storehouse of usefulness !! I will look for him ...
Galina, do you think the angelica grows here? I would look for Him too
Galina Iv.
Girls, I have a big request for you, for those who have a PRINCE growing in the forest. Delicious berry, only it is difficult to collect it, it does not come off the stalk, like raspberries, for example. I now have no opportunity to find her, at the dacha there is a completely different forest than in my native village (Vologda region).

Oksana, of course the angelica is growing. I suppose that this is a type of "pipe", which in childhood was used for pranks, they put some bone in it and blow it hard, and it, in turn, flew far into someone

I know that, I haven't seen anything like it here, maybe I missed it.

Well, you threw messages while I was brewing coffee, and in general it is necessary to classify this Temka as slimming! While you pick the leaves, while you wind them up, while you taste different fermentation of teas --- there is no time to eat something that is not what you cook. And while you read the comments …….

And I have three years on the street growing Thyme And Sage with it - grown from seeds. And in the greenhouse every year I plant Basil - his goose eats there Crazy - probably afraid of caries.

Lyudmila, girls, consult, please!
You, Lyudmila, looked at tea from IRGI. The plant is very similar to the one from which I was going to make tea today. The neighbor is growing. Yesterday I sniffed it - I liked it, wrote here that it is something from a kind of cherry. The villagers call her DRUNK CHERRY, In my opinion, this is the same as Lyudmila and in the photo.
Here, I picked a twig and berries. Please identify:

She is dear.

Oksana , Tanya , Thank you! I already tore it off - it lies dry. The smell is great! Two more of its names were said by neighbors - wine berry and sweet cherry.

I noticed! Everything was done with sparrows - I barely collected leaves!
Galina Iv.
Lyudmila, I was thinking about this ... If St. John's wort after fermentation has partially lost its bitterness, then maybe chamomile will repeat his feat ??
lappl1
And I thought differently. How do we usually consume dried St. John's wort? That's right, mostly flowers. And I twisted everything. Maybe there is no bitterness in the leaves. I don’t know, didn’t chew. So maybe he, St. John's wort, did not lose his bitterness at all. And the taste of flowers was simply diluted with leaves.
But the chamomile did not seem bitter to me. Yes, she has a specific taste, but not bitter for me. You can also try. We don't have enough pharmacy chamomile. Basically - field. Therefore, I can hardly do it. So, Checkmark, you yourself, apparently, have to experience chamomile.

We have. You can find him outside the city. If I get there, I'll pick at least a little, for a test. And then he is also prickly!

I immediately thought about teren, I love its berries, but then I thought that tea from it would be tart. Need to try. In general, it is a very useful plant, in the spring its flowers are harvested, which help from cough, and in the fall the bark is harvested, it seems that they also brew a cough.
What is it doing teren and grows in Kazakhstan, and Ivan tea? And here Ivan's tea does not grow, how to live?

Hello tea lovers! Very interesting topic, thanks to lappl1, Lyudmila, for opening it! I read with interest from the very first page and have already prepared cherry tea by freezing. The scent is magical. Only one moment is not clear to me: how to deal with the dust on the leaves? If it was in the subject, I missed it, tell me where to read it. I washed the cherry leaves, dried, and then I froze them.

how to deal with dust on the leaves
I don’t know if it’s right or not, I wash the leaves, since our region is not very clean, then I spread them out for drying and withering, if I turn them in a meat grinder, or simply dry them from water if they go into the freezer.

Aelita, Eva3 does everything right! If the leaves are dusty, then they must be washed, dried, and then followed by a recipe.
Something I missed this moment - not mine myself, because we don't even have roads nearby, not to mention some enterprises!

Vika, I lived in Kazakhstan. And he grew up right in my garden. Now I would definitely make tea out of it. I liked him. I think that if you get a very tart taste, then you can mix it with another tea. Actually, I love the tart taste.
But I have not seen Ivan tea in Kazakhstan, at least not near Alma-Ata. Hot and dry for him there. And he is not comfortable with you either.

Girls, at your tip and tip I made tea today from irgi... Thank you so much! I liked it very much. The aroma is strong, very similar to cherry.
Lyudmila And I froze the leaves before turning them in a meat grinder, and I wilted. Granules are very strong, do not crumble, despite the fact that the leaf itself is dry. The leaves wilted very quickly, although we had a rainstorm yesterday and the ground is still damp. The twisted mass was dry too. But the tea fermented well. It took me only 4 hours to ferment. The smell was so strong that I decided to dry it after 4 hours. Since the granules were initially dry, I set the temperature in the oven to 80 * C. And still, after an hour it was practically dry.Now to dry in a bag. I haven't tasted the tea yet, as it hasn't completely dried up yet. I think it will be very good! Tomorrow I will report to my taste.
Girls who grow irga, make tea from it, you will not regret it. Tomorrow I decided to repeat this tea, until the sparrows have spoiled all the leaves.
And this is how it looks (look what cool granules!):
