Cooking method

  • It's time for rhubarb, a very healthy and tasty plant. I love him very much since childhood and during the season he is on my table in the form of compotes and filling for baking.
  • Today I have rhubarb pies.
  • First, we make the filling, wash, clean and finely chop the rhubarb. We fill the rhubarb with sugar to taste, it is sour, so it takes a lot of sugar, I put it about a glass. Rhubarb immediately gives juice, so add two tablespoons of starch, mix. I put it in the microwave for 5 minutes to set the juice. It turns out like a thick jelly. Can be boiled on the stove. So, the filling is ready and cooling down.

  • Now we put all the ingredients in the bread maker's bucket, the dough program.
  • The dough turns out like silk, very soft. If you want to make savory pies, then you need to reduce the sugar in the recipe.

  • My program lasts an hour and a half. We take out the dough, cut it into pieces, roll the balls and leave to rest for 20 minutes under the plastic wrap.
