Large chicken egg 4 things
Sugar 180 + 50 230 g
Flour 140 g
Butter 50 g
Golden apples 3-4 pcs
Lemon zest 1 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp. l.
Light raisins 3 tbsp. l.
Cinnamon 1/2 tsp

  • I really love this simple, but nevertheless very tasty and easy-to-prepare recipe for a biscuit with apples, contradicts itself, you might think, because the name is something completely different ... But, I don’t know why, we usually call this pie Charlotte, because according to the definition of Wikipedia - Charlotte (from French Charlotte) - a sweet pie made from apples baked in dough. The classic charlotte is a French sweet dish made with white bread, custard, fruit and liqueur. And Tart Tatin (fr. Tarte Tatin) - a type of French apple pie "inside out" in which apples are fried in butter and sugar before baking the pie. So I thought about it, and decided - I'll call Charlotte ala Taten, and do you think this name fits?
  • Cover the bottom of a mold 26 cm in diameter with baking paper, evenly apply a layer of butter on it and sprinkle with 50 g of sugar.

  • Peel and core the apples without cutting them into halves. Cut the apples into 1.5 cm thick rings, sprinkle with lemon juice and line over the butter and sugar. Spread the raisins evenly and sprinkle with cinnamon.

  • Beat the eggs with a mixer at high speed until their volume triples, without ceasing to beat, gradually introduce a thin stream of sugar and beat for 7-8 minutes, until a fluffy white mass is obtained. Add zest and add flour in two steps, stirring with a spatula from bottom to top and in a circle.

  • The finished dough flows off the shoulder with a ribbon.

  • Spread the dough evenly over the apples.

  • Bake in preheated to 170 "C oven for 35 minutes. Focus on your oven !!!
  • Cool the finished pie in the form.

In principle, what I bake cannot be called charlotte either. Finely chop the apples and mix into the dough. I bake in a cartoon. While the oven is faulty, I will adapt all the recipes for a multicooker.

Thanks for the recipe, round off the dinner with your pie. I also baked a similar one, but butter and sugar and a thickly chopped golden golden turned an ordinary pie into a festive one.

Thanks for the recipe.The pie turned out delicious, though it baked from 3 eggs and there was no lemon zest. Baked in a cartoon 45 min.

The family members dared for one tea party, though they complained that apples are not enough for them. The biscuit turned out to be very tall. A test for 2 charlottes would be enough)

I baked in a rectangular shape, there weren't enough apples in circles at the bottom, and I added cubes to a charlotte, it turned out very tasty, I like a lot of apples. And my husband said sour because of the apples, they are autumn. Probably it was necessary according to the prescription, limited only to the rings at the bottom. The raisins were not available so I did not put them.
