Yesterday we made a honey cake in a slow cooker, I took this recipe as a basis, with minor changes:

Structure:
2 tea. l. black coffee (I took instant)
3/4 cup boiling water
5 eggs, divided into whites and yolks
1.5 cups sugar
3 table. l. very thick or 5 tablespoons of liquid honey (3 tablespoons of thick)
grows up. oil 0.5 cup
grows up. oil lubricate the walls of the mold
1 tea l. cinnamon
2.5 cups plain flour
1 tea l. soda
vanilla sugar
a glass of nuts (chopped)

Preparation:
1. Pour boiling water over the coffee. We cool it down.
2. Beat the whites until a stable foam is formed (we beat them with a mixer), gradually add half the amount of sugar to them.
3. In a separate bowl, mix the yolks, the rest of the sugar, coffee, honey, (if the honey is thick, then first stir in the honey, and then add coffee, it is better to intervene) vegetable oil, spices. Gradually add flour and soda (quench the soda with vinegar).
4. In the resulting mixture, carefully, manually stirring, add whipped whites, the rest of the sugar and at the very end - nuts. We interfere with everything (we interfered with a spoon, not with a mixer).
5. We spread the mixture in the form and on the mode: casserole "50 + 25 minutes (but it can be a little more, although our middle seemed damp than the edges, but then it all came to pass). Let it cool without opening (turn off the heating) for about 20 minutes Then open the lid and cool to the end.

The result is a honey cake 7.5 cm in height. Soaked in cream - sour cream, 400g sour cream + 1.5 cups of sugar and a tablespoon of cocoa. We beat the mixture with a mixer, cut the Medovik in half and spread it with cream there (I think without it, but we can cut it for more times and soak it there, it will only be better for us to cut it with a knife somehow, but the strings was not at hand)). Decorated with cherries (remained frozen). They left it in the fridge overnight, tried it in the morning, it was delicious! (The nuts there are clearly in the subject!), And this was our (me and my girlfriend's) 1st cake (pie) not only in the cartoon, but also the 1st.

Tell me. Should I extinguish soda or not?
nut
It is not necessary to extinguish soda, it is extinguished by honey during the kneading process

Thank you very much!

I baked it yesterday, but after cooling down, the biscuit shriveled. The middle is firm and the edges are soft and airy. What did you do wrong? Drove flour with a mixer, maybe you need to manually? And how hot is the coffee to add? Help pliz, I can't do it with biscuits.

Now I want to put on a honey cake, but there is no instant coffee at home. The question is - can you replace it with boiled one?

So with freshly brewed it is a thousand times better !!!
nut
tat-63 did you do everything right? Read carefully the first post-coffee is poured in cooled down, with a mixer I beat the whites, I mix the flour manually. I bake this cake very often and there have never been any punctures - the biscuit is just airy, 12-14 cm high
Anna Makl
Made a honey cake! She poured in warm coffee and quickly stirred it with a whisk. I mixed the flour with a mixer - it seemed thick, added some more coffee. The honey cake was about 9 cm high. I cut it into 3 cakes.
Now standing in the refrigerator, just in time for the festive table it will cool down.

And what about the norm of weight for baking? I have written that no more than 500g. I made a biscuit on boiling water, so I had to divide the portion in half, part of it was baked in the oven, and half in MV.
I would like to try it entirely in CF, but I'm afraid. so that everything is baked.
The half was just lovely!

What is your MV, large or small? I bake this honey cake in a big bake, everything is baked wonderfully!

Bagel
I make it without any soda on baking powder and everything works out great - one of my favorite biscuits. Cream sour cream + condensed milk, prunes and on top of a crumb of walnut roasted nuts - a quick and tasty cake.
tat-63
Bagel, how much baking powder do you add?

Girls, I was tempted by this biscuit too. I want to smear it with sour cream, and the child asked to put more cherries there. Height half-length along the edge 9cm.
By the way, I put the soda.

Please see the recipe on page 1. It says that you need to carefully combine the proteins with a spoon. You can, of course, with a mixer, but at a very low speed and without zeal, so that the airiness of the proteins does not destroy

For a large cartoon, the whole bag, for a small teaspoon, full.

Well, that's a completely different matter. A very good honey cake turned out. And most importantly, everyone liked it, especially the kid, who very correctly asked to add a cherry there!
ANSOL
The recipe is wonderful ... my first experience of baking in a multicooker was successful the first time ... the height of the biscuit is 10-10.5 cm (in the center) .. thanks a lot for the recipe
Elenka
This honey cake is also my favorite. But for a large MV I do it in terms of a small one. Very good. he is tall according to the full recipe.

metel_007... great cake!

Here I am sharing another tried and tested recipe in the capricious Perfezza PR-56 ...

There is no baking mode in my cartoon, because I baked on CRISPY RICE (two shutdowns before the countdown).

Bake for 50-60 minutes and do not open the lid for another 10 minutes.

My masterpiece, only multi.

Girls! Help me please! I can't find a recipe on the website, I wrote down a honey cake in MV, and whose I didn't write down, now I can't find it. Here is the recipe: eggs-3 pcs, sugar-1 glass, honey-3 tbsp. spoons, soda-0.5 tsp. l, baking powder-1h. l, flour 2 cups. It is written that the dough should be like a pancake, but in this proportion it turns out like a shortbread. Is there anything I missed in the recipe?

Taisiya, I have a 4.5 liter Panasonic, but I bake half a portion. Not such a giant pie turns out, moderately high. You can safely take half.
Taisiya
Elenka, thanks for the answer. I just baked it, it's getting cold. The recipe has been reduced by 3 eggs, the height of the cake is 6.5 cm.

Andreevna, well, just no words! Thank you so much for the recipe. I have CF recently, but I actively use it. Your Medovik is the 7th. First, Chocolate on boiling water prevailed (4 times already baked), then there was a biscuit and a Gingerbread cake, and yesterday it was your Medovik's turn. True, I baked it for more than 2 hours (I have a Polaris 508). But it turned out so tall. I cut it into 4 layers, smeared it with cream, covered it with glaze and sprinkled it with coconut. Baked by the order of the collective. I usually bring cakes in a special cake bowl with a tall transparent lid. But this time the lid of the cake pan was too low, so I had to find a large saucepan and cover this giant with it. We have already tasted it. Delicious! I liked it even more than Boiling Chocolate. Next time, for ease of transportation, I will reduce the bookmark so that it is lower

Oh, how great it is that such a honey cake turned out! Yes, in different cartoons you have to navigate the time yourself. Well, the honey cake is not scared if you look into the cartoon after an hour, this is not a classic biscuit. Try to bake a honey cake without soda, a great option for cakes, thanks to the author irza Good luck to you!!!!!
Tatiana S.
Andreevna, thanks for your support, but please tell me a link to the recommended honey cake without soda. I would like to try, but you don't even feel the soda in yours, and, in general, everything is in moderation - neither add nor subtract.
Andreevna
Duc here he is https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=92949.0 but I must say right away that you will not see it so tall, and it tastes a little different. But you have to try everything, right? This biscuit is for a normal cake, not a giant. In general, try it, if it doesn't work, then you can easily reduce the amount of products in this recipe
Tatiana S.
Andreevna,, nope, it's just an ordinary biscuit, only with honey. I never have problems with a biscuit, it is no longer interesting. I would like to create something new. While yours is in the lead with me. The next week is a continuous one, so, I think, I will bake more than once, and for the butter dish too. Everyone should be treated and "infected" with cartoons. At my suggestion, we have already bought 13 Polaris, and, it seems to me, to be continued. The store is already giving us a discount. And to one of our employees, a neighbor boy, having tasted porridge from MV, in the morning he came with a bowl: "Give me some porridge!" ... She says - no more, and he - is, I saw you pressed buttons yesterday. And he demanded from his father to buy a "magic pot"
Tatiana S.
Again I baked this honey cake, made it as a gift for the anniversary of the employee. When I put the dough in a saucepan and put it on the baking, setting 1:30 at once, I remembered that I forgot to pour oil into the dough. I left everything as it was, decided that in case of failure I would bake a new one, and feed this one to the animals. But after an hour and a half, the cake was baked and turned out to be very wonderful. I didn't have to blush. We gave the jubilee the same cartoon. I printed out all her favorite recipes and yours, Andreevna, including, so I never tire of thanking

Hello everybody!!!! take a newbie into your ranks. : girl_cleanglasses: My husband gave me a slow cooker and a bread maker.Today I tried to bake a honey cake, everything worked out, 11 cm high, although I have a saucepan of 5 liters, and did not settle down. Only now I stuck a little to the saucepan itself and had to help with a spatula. Now my husband and children will come from a walk, I will pamper them. I will unsubscribe about their reaction !!!

Oh, well, wow size, great! Did you grease the cartoon before laying the dough? Did you sprinkle it with semolina? This is to prevent the biscuit from sticking
AnechkaAnyutk
: pardon: no, I thought that half a glass of butter would be enough. Next time I will, although I had to work a little bit with a spatula !!!!

What a thank you for the recipe, I just got to it
In the morning I was looking for something so quick and not complicated, because guests accidentally drew themselves for the evening (we all celebrate my DR,
10th day already).
Well, she muddied the dough, baked it in a slow cooker (I love her, I have no strength !!).
For some reason, out of the corner of my eye in the recipe, 3-4 tablespoons of coffee flashed through me, well, I pour 4. And then I think we can add more,
look at the recipe, and there is already 3/4 cup ... I have freshly ground coffee and brewed on the "strong espresso" program.
Baking for 65 minutes - not quite ready, I added another 25 .. I jumped out of the saucepan perfectly, 7 cm, cut into 3 parts, it could have been 4.
Sour cream + sugar cream powder + cognac + spoon lim. juice (hello Crochet!)
For some reason, the cream turned out to be not enough, for this honey cake you should not regret the cream, but generously coat the cakes,
I took 350 g of sour cream, not enough!

Here's a quick cake I got

I cooked according to your recipes, it turned out sooooo tasty, BUT for some reason the dough was not baked on top in place of the valve, can someone tell me how to bake it correctly. Is the valve to be removed or not? On all forums they write what is already baked. And if the valve is removed, what will happen?
