Keniksberg meatballs

Ingredients

For minced meat:
Pork + beef 500g
Breadcrumbs 2 tbsp. l.
Onion 2 pcs.
Egg 1 PC.
Milk 1/2 cup
Broth or water 1 glass
Sauce:
Flour 2 tbsp. l.
Butter (melted) 2 tbsp. l.
Milk 1 glass
Ready mustard 1 tsp
Salt taste
Pepper taste

Cooking method

  • Pass the meat with onions through a meat grinder, mix with breadcrumbs and an egg. Add milk and stir until smooth.
  • Form meatballs, roll in flour and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides.
  • Put the meatballs in a saucepan, pour in the broth, cover and cook over high heat for about 15 minutes.
  • Prepare the sauce: In a tall bowl, combine flour, butter, milk and beat with a blender or mixer.
  • When the meatballs are ready, take the juice formed from them and mix with the sauce.
  • Cook the sauce for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly. If there are any lumps, you can beat the sauce with a blender at the end. Finally, add mustard, salt and pepper to the sauce.
  • Pour meatballs with sauce and heat for 5 minutes. Serve with any side dish.
