Lightly salted tomatoes

Ingredients

Tomatoes (I love cherry) 2 Kg
water 1.5 l.
coarse salt (rock salt) 100g
sugar 2 tsp
garlic 1 head
bitter pepper 1 pod
currant leaves 7 pcs
cherry leaves 7 pcs
dill umbrellas 7 pcs
horseradish leaves 5-6 pcs.

Cooking method

  • Put greens in a saucepan, tomatoes on it, then transfer them in layers.
  • Boil water with salt and sugar.
  • Chop the tomatoes on both sides with a fork for speedy cooking.
  • Pour the tomatoes with boiling brine and put under a press for two days at room temperature.
  • Lightly salted tomatoes
  • Then put it in the refrigerator and after 5-6 days the delicious tomatoes are ready!
