And I will not take 10 mm yet. I have such a thing:
Grater Burner (1)
There are inserts of 12 mm and 10 mm. But I often use this:
Grater Burner (1)
This cell has 8 mm. We make potatoes for frying on it. And next to it is an insert to it, so that the apple is cut into slices and the core is cut at the same time.

I have one like in the top photo. I bought it a hundred years ago in the Czech Republic. They used it for a while, and put it aside - to cut the potatoes, they had to make a remarkable effort (apparently, the blades were not particularly sharp). And when you finally push it through the blades, the pieces scatter across the table. And wash it afterwards. In general, I hope Berner will be more convenient. And in size 10 is very suitable for me.

Yes, I also rarely use the top one because of this. Especially if the potatoes are hard. Okay, Tanya, I'll go to bed, otherwise I put the bread on the night with a timer, I need to take it out at 6:00, I can sleep. I'm waiting for your teens, maybe I will dream right now.

These cutters were of different designs. I had several of them, some cut well, some badly. But both of them have long been in the trash heap.

Good evening!
Today I received a long-awaited package from Germany with Berner. I bought a V6 or a "pro" in Russia. Very good grater, happy.
There was a question about the "stub". So, on the reverse side, it CUTS, like a knifeless insert, only medium in size, approximately 3 mm (the usual knifeless one is 1mm and 5 mm approximately compared). Here, maybe someone will need it ...

Yeah interesting. And 3 mm, that's just ideal! If this is the case in Trend too, then it's just a thrill. Tanya azaza will provide us with a report in a week.

And I Congratulations!!!! Let it serve for joy!
I wonder if the quality of the graters sold here and in their homeland is different?
And I
Once again I looked at everything and compared - (I have an old trend - 8 years for sure, or maybe more, but it still cuts well) - there are no differences! I bought mine in Moscow from an officer.representative is no different from the one brought! All graters from new to old - even a plug. The blades are the same!
The appearance of the iron is of course more interesting and the color of the black inserts is more practical (I had white) and the weight is heavier. but it's more pleasant to hold in your hands. Our price is too high for him - there its maximum price is 55 euros.
Many thanks to the forum - thanks to you I learned a lot of interesting things, including a link to a German site, where I purchased it.
azaza
I also want a reference. And further, And IHow long did it take to order? And orient us by your region pliz: RF, Ukr, or where?

And, beat me, I'm talking about the stub again. You said about the average thickness of the slices on the Profi using a plug. Now write that the stub came to the Trend. And the third thickness of the slices is 3 mm and on the Trend turned out to be this plug from the Pro? That is, everything is exactly the same, right?

I read, read the topic, I got completely confused, it's hard to figure it out when I didn't see them in my eyes. Give someone a link where you can see them and understand what Classic, Trend and Prima are? I do not have a combine, so it is very necessary and urgent. The most important thing for me is to cut the onion into cubes for frying. There is no time to sort it out for a long time, I write while Lyalya is sleeping in her arms. Thank you all in advance, from me. +

Tanyusha azaza, what is it? A week has passed, I'm already worn out.
Mona, mastering !!! I just unpacked it, just washed the vegetables. So far, I've tried the peeler. Disappointed. Comparisons with my nameless do not stand. Last summer I bought a German one, I don't remember a company, for big money - I dumped 160 tugriks. So she cuts so that it is impossible to stop, I want to clean and clean: kilograms, tons. Berner's is the same carrot that my nameless one cuts wonderfully, takes it with a decent effort, does not slip.
I went to master the rest. I will report with pictures.
azaza
Turned around in full!
So, I'm reporting.
First of all, I will close the issue with the peeler (since I mentioned it earlier). Here they are both: an expensive all-metal of unknown breed (there is an identification mark, but I cannot read it) and a triangular Berner
Grater Burner (1)
Next is a stub (Mona, for you!)
Grater Burner (1)
And the second side
Grater Burner (1)
By the plug: how it is difficult to fix the plug. Does not fall into the grooves, crawls. But if you fix it, it's dead.
On the wrong side of the plug: yes, this is another size of the knifeless insert. But this side does not fix it in the frame at all. Strangely enough, it does not interfere with cutting, nothing jumps out anywhere, does not break. But it would be much nicer if she was securely in the nest.
I'm glad I have a stub. Why do you need Mona, personal merci: I didn't even know about her existence, it was you who brought me to her.

The thickness of the cut on the bladeless inserts. For clarity, I took a picture of three pieces in my hand (on a plate it is not so revealing even with a match)
Grater Burner (1) Grater Burner (1)
For mushrooms, the maximum thickness is more digestible. But the average one will not even be superfluous to me! Thin, fortunately, is not as thin as I feared.
About mushrooms: until you can cut, prick several pieces at once (as I planned). And nevertheless, cutting is definitely faster than with a knife, and definitely cleaner and better than in a combine (although I love the combine itself, a great assistant!). Without a doubt, in the future I will only cut mushrooms with Berner. Who does not remember: I thought about Berner precisely in terms of cutting mushrooms and cabbage.

Cabbage. On a thin shredder - very good! She didn’t take pictures, because such pictures were already here. Shredding cabbage is quite convenient. One drawback: the upper leaves, not reinforced by the stump, fly off. They still have to be cut with a knife. I cut the cabbage into 4 parts along the stump, held it with my hand. Quite
BUT. Girls, if someone cares about winter cabbage for fresh salads, don’t spare the money for Carly!
Grater Burner (1)
Sorry for the photo, half of the cabbage was in the shade. But in the second half you can see for yourself: this is not cabbage, but fluff! It is no longer necessary to hammer it, it is already soft. And by the way, she barely cut the head of cabbage with a sharp knife (also by Berner, and also a new thing). But Carly has a significant drawback: she doesn't get on the trough. Grated cabbage on a silicone mat. Nothing slips, but pieces of cabbage fly in all directions. It's not so critical that I give up this grater, but I consider it my duty to warn. Lga, Kubanochka and Dopplet - personal gratitude, it was your reviews that made my hesitate (IRR, thank you too for the capacious word) in favor of Carly

Basin.Quite ice. Nothing came out of it. Perhaps because my speed is still a beginner. Nevertheless, I liked the vessel, it is convenient to work on it.

Fruit holder. Most of all I feared for him. There was a latent confidence that I would not make friends with him, that he would interfere with me as if I didn’t know. I even bought gloves with pimples ahead of time (matching the grater, orange). But I never got them. The holder is very convenient, fingers hide well behind the cap. Conclusion: I will definitely use it! He doesn't bother me at all!

Waffle. The first impression is flimsy. The insert flies out with terrible force! However, it flies out in the hand, in operation it stands quite securely in place. Cuts very powerfully.

Main frame. I liked everything except the carrots. Carrots, alas, go a little taut, you have to push hard. And this is not to me. It was expected that everything would be cut like clockwork. But no. Faint hope that the carrot is particularly tough. We'll see. And I haven't tasted potatoes yet. She, they say, also goes a little bit (depending on the variety). Radish and cabbage are cut just like butter.

Leftovers. I was afraid that there would be large pieces, at least for the first time. But no, the leftovers are minimal, do not require additional cutting with a knife or some other dances with tambourines.

In general, I am very pleased with the gift. Although the impressions are still vague: I didn't have time to taste the process, the vegetables for some reason ran out very quickly. When my husband comes, brings another batch of vegetables, I will continue the research. After all, I didn't manage to get to the cubes. I didn't even have enough vegetables for the knifeless inserts and Carly with the waffle. Although there were them like a fig. Where have you gone?
azaza
Amendment.
The plug is very well fixed! Apparently, at first there was something in the way, now everything is in place and in the "plug" position the insert is fixed perfectly - you can take off figs!
But from the side of the knifeless insert it still dangles. She doesn't even have anything to cling to, there is not a single suitable groove.
annnushka27
no one remembers if there is a photo in the subject of how prima cuts or combichips?
azaza
There is a photo of cubes on Prima, look. As far as I remember, there are no cubes from the combichipser. Yes, there are no cubes, it gives sticks... And the same bars are produced by any Berner vegetable cutter (Classic, Trend, Prima, Profi). If you cut the product perpendicular to the arrows on the fruit holder, you can get cubes instead of blocks.
Prima is "sharpened" for cubes purely conditionally: in fact, not cubes are obtained, but rhombuses, and even those are flat. But if you are exclusively for frying onions, such are also suitable.

In a Berner cleaner, even the metal, compared to my old one, looks sickly and wretched, like foil. In principle, I did not think that any company would be able to surpass my cleaner - if only because it is simply impossible to do better, it literally slides over any vegetable without experiencing obstacles. And I took Berner's one more like a fruit cleaner (just for oranges, yeah) and in the role of a sort of unpretentious decorator.
Girls, if anyone comes across a cleaner, like in my photo (on the previous page), don't be stingy, buy it. The thing, though expensive, but for centuries. It will justify every penny invested in it! Dopplet won't let you lie
IRR
azaza, Tanya! Congratulations!!! such happiness when the purchase justifies itself and temporarily there is something to do with brains and hands, and most importantly, the process is interesting.

No, I took it from the office. representative. Kiev borner yua - their clients. I'll drop something in a personal note.

And also a question about Carly. Do you think she can kill red cabbage?
And what doesn’t bother? The difference with the white one is only in color And now, when Lena-Kubanochka rehabilitated the sudok together with Carly, nothing will fly off the grater. In such a grater

I will look forward to the continuation of the fascinating story about the cubes.
But the cubes disappointed me. I really hope - for now (as before with Carly's soup) So far I've only tried 3.5 mm. And that's the crap. The blocks are not completely cut through. Either the very edge (accordion) remains uncut, or cuts are outlined along the entire plane of the vegetable, but there is not a single through-cut. Moreover, only some pieces remain uncut, the rest are quite normally cut to the end. Girls with experience, tell me, teach me, what could be the problem? Perhaps the chest opens as easily as the box with Carly, but I just don't see the obvious? Perhaps you need to press harder, or does it depend on the angle?
I still can't get used to radishes. Here, my mushrooms are cut without a trace at all, and exactly half of the radishes goes to waste, I have to cut it by hand. And this is already a dance that I would like to avoid.
And one more observation. How huge it is, this grater !!! Somehow I imagined her less
