No, inverter is just about microwaves. A conventional magnetron, in order to achieve the required power, turns on and off at regular intervals. Have you heard clicks in a conventional microwave? And the inverter immediately works at the specified power. Does not click, thanks to this there is no overheating and overdrying of food.
