Jellied Post-New Year's Hangover

Ingredients

Meat scraps from the New Year's table (turkey, goose, chicken, tongue, etc.) 200 g
Cucumber pickle + 3-4 sol. cucumber 400 ml
Cabbage pickle from under red Georgian cabbage + a little cabbage 500 ml
Tomato juice with salt and pepper 1/2 cup
Sheet gelatin 14 leaves

Cooking method

  • A tagine cover was used as a form (for a distant visual approximation to the tree). First of all, pre-heated tomato juice was poured into the top of the lid, in which two soaked and squeezed leaves of gelatin were dissolved. The juice was sent to the cold to solidify, and in the meantime the cucumber brine was slightly heated, in which, in turn, 5 leaves of gelatin were already dissolved. Cucumbers were laid on the frozen tomato juice and the cooled, but not yet frozen brine was poured. Again - in the cold. And last of all, the same thing was done with the pickle from under the spicy red Georgian cabbage, but 7 leaves dissolved in it. On a frozen layer of cucumber brine, cut meat scraps and a little chopped red cabbage were placed in strips, and then everything was poured with cabbage brine. The last stage of solidification, and the dish with a tonic effect is ready to eat!

The recipe was originally conceived as playful and planned to be published on New Year's morning. But the last guests who were late and left only on the first evening did not give me such an opportunity, therefore, with the placement of the recipe, I'm sorry, I was late. However, this was not the last New Year's morning (amen!).
