After the bars had increased by 2-2.5 times, I spread them with a beaten egg and made cuts along the entire loaf with a sharp knife. I put the onion and garlic filling into the cuts with a teaspoon, sprinkled with herbs (mine is frozen) and sprinkled it all with plenty of grated cheese on top.
