What the right business approach!

Girls, does anyone have a Pyramid grater? I still want it to the pile, but I don't understand what size it is. This is from the office. site, there, by the way, and Carly appeared

Beautiful girl! But for some reason I don't like such graters - it's inconvenient for me to wash them ..... rub on 1 side, and wash - all 4.
M @ rtochka
I don’t have one, but sometimes it’s convenient to quickly pull a similar old Belarusian grater and rub something on it, they’re conveniently on the table ... I would like to replace it, we need to take a closer look at this
What's the point in the second surface from the left? Double holes of some kind.

Oh, I had a terrible case. Cut with a very sharp knife
I also occasionally have cuts, for a hemostatic sponge - big - big THANKS !! And I did not know about such a miracle.

And I, so that blood does not drip at least for the first time, I apply a female pad to the wound - it is convenient until the edges are tightened and the fixation of these edges is also good. I bandage with a pad, the daily is comfortable.
Kira_Sun
M @ rtochka, I do not know. Maybe the girls have, someone will respond, write what's what

Kira_SunIrina, I had a Pyramid grater, though not Börner, but BergHOFF. I completely agree with Ekaterina2, wash her hell hellish. Not only did I wash the whole thing, I also had it very narrow at the top of my head, I couldn't reach it with my hand to wash it in the recess. If the vegetables are raw, then okay, just rinse, and rub the cheese or boiled vegetables with a sponge and detergent, and not reach it with your hand. If Börner is larger, then perhaps this problem will not be.

M @ rtochka, Daria, this grater is rubbing with a thin "noodle". I have such a Tescoma, to be honest, except for cheese I don't rub anything on it. Under the spoiler there is a video of how Tescoma is rubbing this kind of grater.

And I have one somewhere lying around from Berghoff. The horror is terrible - dumb as I do not know what (mine in any case). And washing, yes, is completely inconvenient. Especially those plastic rims at the top and bottom - everything clings there and does not want to wash out.

I have a similar Microline. I use it very little.

I agree completely.

I ordered long rasps from Berner on WB, the same as on the first and fourth pyramid. I have a double teskomovskaya, rubbing with the finest petals (I tried onions and carrots, I was not impressed).
Ketsal
Kubeba1, the rasps are cool, especially for cheese, but it's more convenient for me to use not as a rasp, but as a regular grater, resting on the table

I have a Bernerska grater, but not a pyramid, but a rectangular one. I don't use it. I bought it for a long time and I don't even really remember why I don't use it. But the fact that washing is not convenient I remember and confirm. I most often use the Jobs grater, which folds. There are, however, only two sides - large and small. But it is sharp and easy to store.
Kassandra26
Hello, I bought a Berner trend model, I am very pleased, I read your forum, thank you all for the tips on using) but please tell me, the shredder sometimes goes hard, with effort, the vegetable gets stuck in the teeth. Am I just not strong enough to fully cut through? Or because of the hardness of vegetables (carrots, beets). Everything went well on the bladeless insert.
marinastom
Congratulations on the excellent helper!
Yes, hard vegetables can be slowed down by the knife inserts. Nothing, you will get used to it over time and everything will always work out. Well, or almost always ...
Just don't forget to use the fruit holder !!!
Kassandra26
Thank you very much for the operative answer) I will look as I use the sensation, just a couple of days) The fruit holder is mandatory, although I have not made friends with him yet)
nila
Kassandra26, - so that hard vegetables are not inhibited during shredding at knife exhibitions, there is not so much strength needed. You just need to make sharp, quick movements. But you will understand this after several times of use, when you fill your hand. Of course, for the first time, out of habit, the movements of the hand are still not confident, careful. That's why vegetables are stuck. A couple of days of use, and everything will work out!
And yes, get used to working only with the fruit holder!

I agree, and you also need to control the force of pressure on the vegetable. More precisely, it is not necessary to press hard, it is necessary, as it were, to evenly press a little and move the vegetable forward ... And try to put the grater so that it lies horizontally on the bowl.

Girls help out, the parents of the year have been plowing classics since 1996. Now I live separately, I want Berger, that it is better not to take the classics understood. Thinking trend or prima?

Because both are good.

Ketsal, Olga, if you are used to the Classics, take the Trend and do not worry.

Girls, I understood correctly. that Prima's cutting thickness can only be changed on the main insert? 3.5 and 7 give only one size of bars?

Also of different thickness.

And where about Prima you can read in more detail? I downloaded the instructions on the official website, but there are no 3.5 and 7 different thicknesses. I figured out about the Trend, I found a very detailed review here. Now, in order to make a decision, you need to delve into Prima.

I can only take my picture to make it clearer.
3.5 and 7 are graters with this distance between the teeth, and there are 4 different positions for the thickness. In another plane, perpendicular to the teeth. Clarified something?

And if you decide to take it, take Lux, there is insert 10 in the kit.

Here is copied on the official website:

"Four thicknesses when cutting into rings on a knifeless insert
Fifth position of the knifeless insert - "lock" to protect the knives during storage
Cuts large and small cubes in one motion
The 3.5 mm insert now cuts two straw thicknesses: 3.5 × 3.5 mm and 3.5 × 1.7 mm and small cubes.
The 7 mm insert now cuts two straw thicknesses: 7 × 7 mm and 3.5 × 7 mm and large cubes. "

Hello everyone! I have been sitting in topics about vegetable cutters for several days. I read topics about electric (combines and meat grinders with vegetable cutters), and about mechanical ones. Still thinking about what to buy. We need everything. I think that maybe, for now, get a grater. You can tell my husband that it costs 500 rubles, he does not know the prices. But it won't work with a combine ... So, I'm thinking of ordering a classic at Ozone and immediately buying a tray. Who bought ??? Is there an original ??? Only this question is tormenting for now.
marinastom
As far as I know, the Classic is produced in Russia.
So it's hardly the original ...
Olya2017
Classics are made in Russia
And so? I read it, read it ... and I still haven't understood everything, so. Although, on Ozone they write that the country of origin is Germany.

So if it is licensed, it is still the original.
I don't remember what my set is called, it seems not a classic, what else is there, Trend, It seems like germanium is written there. On additional inserts exactly germanium.
Olya2017
So if it is licensed, it is still the original.
Well, on Ozone, I hope not China? While there is time, I will wait for the reviews yet. I want to order for the birthday, they will give points there.
Svetlenki
Girls, the main thing you look at is what is written on the blades. Plastic and where it is collected is important, but not as much as the blade. IMHO
Olya2017
Svetlenki, yes, but then an online order. You probably won't be able to see it.

And ask the girls? I have, for example, on "PROFI" (so it seems called the metal "Trend") like this

Grater Burner (2)
Gingi
Olya2017, can look at the "Trend", the difference in price is not very big, but it will be more convenient to work with it (inserts with knives are fixed). I have this model for twenty years, it is still alive.
On ozone, there is a comparison of these models.

Svetlenki, Sveta, Gingi, Galina, Thank you!!! I’ll think, but I’ll buy myself something for DR. All rushing between "mechanics and electrics". I go there to the topic, I want this, I come here - this. And yet there is no money for everything. Eh. For now, I will dream, make up a little list.

All rushing between "mechanics and electrics".

Olya2017, Olga,

and you listen to yourself, which will be more to your liking? All the same, Berner is not a grater - it is a vegetable cutter. She cuts like a knife, but in a grater a little differently, and the result is different. And Berner is traumatic.

Here my sister uses an electric mini-grater - and is happy, but I threw the graters, I only have an alligator and a burner at work. Special grater for cheese and fine grater for zest and ginger / garlic

Gingi
Olya2017, Berner's grater makes life very easy. I'm so used to her that I just can't imagine how it is possible without her.
You can save a little and first buy only the grater itself, and buy the tray and box for inserts later, when you understand that you need it. I once picked up all sorts of special stages, and then sent them to live at the dacha. Now I only use a grater, I have enough. Again, space is saved.
Olya2017
Svetlenki, Sveta,
and you listen to yourself, which will be more to your liking?
Yes, you probably need to calm down. Better yet, hold it in your hands.
first buy only the grater itself,
Gingi, Galina, and you are right. I now use a wooden grater from the market for Korean carrots. And I really like her. But that would be sharper knives.
marinastom
Olya2017, Olya, you probably have shops where you can "touch"? I once bought it "blindly", but after careful "chewing" here. The girls then helped me sooooo much with the choice, especially Tanya-Mona1.
Already six years have passed, Trendushka is working in her tail and mane! Love him!
Prima is also there, cool, but the Trend is more to my soul ... IMHO ...
Olya2017
marinastom, Marina, yes, of course, probably there is. I was only recently puzzled, so I did not have time to "touch" it. There is a big weekend ahead, if the garden does not tighten, then I will look.
M @ rtochka
My frame cracked. The grater is less than 2 years old. We'll have to change ... I press hard, probably during work.
Grater Trend.
marinastom
Yes, Dasha, it's strange ...
In my second year of using the Trend, a notch appeared on the blade. That's all for now...
But I bought a spare frame, it is in a zagashnichka. For everyone ...
Gingi

Cracked my frame
Probably when rubbing something hard you press hard.It is safer for the grater to rub, as it were, with sharper and faster movements.
And the frame can be bought separately, it is not necessary to buy a complete set again.
nila
M @ rtochka, Dariahow annoying!
I don't think it put much pressure on the frame. Do you really have German?
My Prima is more than 5 years old, both in the tail and in the mane! I am very worried about her, and I shake over her! Simply, in which case, there will be no place to buy a new frame. Only the grater itself.
Gingi

I did not see a spare frame for Prima. In this regard, with the Trend and the classics cheaper easier, you can buy a frame in reserve.
Deana
Oh, I didn’t know that you can buy a frame separately! Need to remember!

Olya2017, the main thing is to determine the place, if it is at hand, then you will use it 100 percent, because it is convenient and fast. And if you remove it somewhere, it is not a fact that you will get it.
Olya2017
Here I looked at Ashan's catalog, there are also these graters. "Practice" is called a clone? There is no way to get there yet. Who bought it, what kind of packaging does it come in?
