It is impossible to rub without a fruit holder, rather even dangerous, as on all Berner graters. The fruit holder holds the product securely (I liked that).
I compared it with my old grater - on Berner, more effort needs to be made, it clogs more, but it was washed easily. But the release of the finished product pleased me more on Berner !!!! On two large sides of the grater, such fluffy large shavings came out (although on my old one it also suits me quite well), but on two small sides - Super Juicy shavings turned out !!!! My old one did not give out such a consistency. This made me very happy !!!
