Ingredients

rack of pork ribs 1.5KG
onion (large) 3 pcs
beet kvass 1 l
rye bread (stale) 200 g
thyme 3-4 branches
pepper mixture (peas) 1 tsp
ground paprika 1 tsp
salt taste
vegetable oil for frying

Cooking method

  • 1. Fry the ribs over high heat until golden brown and transfer to a baking dish (I used a rooster).
  • 2. Cut the onion into half rings and lightly fry, put on top of the ribs. Add thyme and pepper, pour in kvass and place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Simmer until half cooked (30-40 minutes).
  • 3. Grate bread or grind with a blender and add to the meat. Season with salt and paprika. Bring the meat to readiness (if necessary, remove the lid and evaporate the excess liquid).
