Christmas bagels.

Ingredients

flour 150g
powdered sugar 30g
yolk 1 PC
butter 110g
ground almonds 50g
vanilla sugar 1 sachet
lemon peel a bit

Cooking method

  • Mix all loose ingredients, add the yolk, cut into slices butter and knead the dough.
  • Roll the dough into a bun and put in the refrigerator, well, for at least half an hour.
  • Then get out and not a pugazza that is frozen, cut a piece with a knife and the dough becomes tender in your hands.
  • Roll out the sausage and cut it into pieces, bend the piece into a horseshoe.
  • The size you want, I made small thin flagella,
  • you can make thick bagels, but the most relish will still come from small cookies.

  • Bake at 180g, 10 minutes, the time depends on the size of your rolls and on your preferences: pale or fried.
  • Once baked, we take it out and generously cover it with powdered sugar, as if with snow.

Note

We put the rolls in a bucket, close the lid and put them away. Yeah, to brew, before Christmas.
This is the main prerequisite for taste.
I baked a little late, ideally, in a month or 3 weeks, you need to bake.

You can take nuts and hazelnuts, and walnuts, almonds - ideally.

PS: can you imagine, I forgot what is the name of lemon peel in Russian,
in the recipe I don't know how to write .. citron chicken and that's it ..

There are similar livers in German cuisine. Called Christmas vanilla crescents. Made them two days ago. Very tasty and also made a month before Christmas.
Christmas bagels.
Ingredients:
150 gr butter
50 gr icing sugar
a pinch of salt,
100 grams of chopped almonds,
200 gr flour
3 packs of vanilla sugar
2 tbsp / l caster sugar.
Cooking method:
Lightly mix the oil, powder, salt with your hands. Add nuts and flour gradually.
All components must be well mixed, but have the consistency of a dusting.
Leave in the refrigerator overnight. The next day, mix the dough with sprinkles. Divide the dough into 2 rolls 30 cm long. Cover with foil and leave in the refrigerator for another 2 hours.
Form crescents from the dough. Bake at 160 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

Sprinkle generously with powdered vanilla sugar.
