Chocolate "sausage"

Category: Confectionery
Chocolate sausage

Ingredients

Biscuits
(I take
300 g
Butter 100-150 g
Milk 1/4 Art.
Sugar 1 / 3-1 / 2 tbsp.
Chocolate 50 g
Cocoa 1 tsp
Glazed curds 3-4 pcs.

Cooking method

  • First you need to grind the cookies (I do this with a rolling pin), then pour sugar, cocoa and chocolate into the milk, melt all this over low heat, without bringing to a boil, then cool to room temperature. Beat the butter with the cooled chocolate mass, then mix the resulting chocolate cream with chopped cookies. It turns out a rather thick mass that needs to be rolled out (very convenient on cling film), put the glazed curds close to each other along the edge of the layer and roll them up. Put in the refrigerator until the "sausages" harden.

Note

Please, help!

A 100% Verified Chocolate Sausage recipe is urgently needed.
There is a set of products - butter, sugar, cocoa, crushed cookies, something else.
All this is rolled into a film like smoked sausage and in the refrigerator. And on the cut of cookies - like fat in a sausage.

VERY WAITING!

And I cook it with a filling of glazed curds, it looks very impressive on the cut. If you're interested, here's the recipe.

It turns out a very tasty and beautiful "sweet sausage", and even with a surprise! Fine!

This recipe has been tested for decades: both my brother and I grew up on such a delicacy.

Cookies (simple, like Jubilee) 400 g
Butter 200 g
1 egg
Milk 2 tbsp. l.
Cocoa 2 tbsp. l (as much as possible, to taste)
Sugar 1.5 tbsp. l
Break the cookies into pieces. Stir butter, milk, cocoa, sugar, bring to a boil. then break the egg and stir thoroughly.
Add cookies to this mixture (warm), you can add nuts. Wrap in foil (or tracing paper) and cool.

Add the egg to the already almost cooled chocolate mass!

I do it by eye. Cookies, I buy Voronezh baked milk, in a blender I cut it into small pieces, cocoa, sugar, milk and butter over low heat into a homogeneous mass. Walnuts, hazelnuts, or whatever you like, I break it up large, mix everything, put it in cling film, form a sausage and in the freezer. Then, when it hardens, I just put it in the refrigerator, but this sausage doesn't stay there for a long time ...

Do you also add eggs to custard to cold milk?
It's the same here. The egg is quickly brewed, the mass acquires a slightly thick consistency. So in my recipe - IN A HOT mass (but not in a boiling one) !!! I have always done this and will do so!
Lydia
Do as usual of course. It's just that I have almost the same recipe, because it specifically stipulates that the egg is in an almost cooled mass. But in general, it was anyhow tasty.

This is how I make "potatoes", only instead of cocoa I heat chocolate, a bar of milk and a bar of black ... this is something

I wanted to remember my childhood and made an impromptu sausage, added everything "by eye" - homemade and purchased cookies, cashew nuts, chocolate bar with nuts, cocoa, butter, a couple of tablespoons of Philadelphia cheese, Baileys ...

I made a recipe today LaraN, only without an egg. It turned out delicious, but not sweet enough for my taste. Next time I'll do it in proportions Crumbs... Thanks everyone for the advice. Only for some reason the "Thanks" button does not work, it gives an error

Hello everybody. Here's a recipe from my childhood. Previously, my mother used to make sausage for me and my sister. Now I constantly do it for my eldest son. The youngest is still very small. Recipe:
Cookies 400 gr
Condensed milk 380 gr (can)
Cocoa to taste
Butter 180-200gr (pack)
You don't need to cook anything, except soften the butter, mix everything, make sausages and in the freezer.
Ps: Answer someone, please, why do you need an egg in the recipe? It seems to me that butter holds the sausage together well. And it's not safe to eat a raw egg, especially for children.

Krosh, Inna, I don’t understand something with glazed curd, how, when and where are you going to get it, and even so that how the fat would remain?

Natulechka, so here it is:
