Ingredients

Medium cucumber 2 pcs.
Loose buckwheat 4 tbsp. l.
Onions - medium size 1 PC.
Garlic 1-2 teeth
Parsley and dill 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Cut the cucumber into strips, the onion in half rings, crush the garlic, finely chop the greens. We steam buckwheat.
  • Mix everything and season - whatever you like - with mayonnaise or vegetable oil.

I made this salad for my son's birthday. Honestly, I was afraid of the guests' reaction, but I liked the salad. True, I have cucumbers in cubes, but I also took them from the freezer. Those that are now sold are grass-grass, but mine turned out to be elastic, crispy and, most importantly, they are homemade, from their own garden. The taste has been preserved.

Olya, thanks for the idea, I prepared this salad, but since I only had half of a fresh cucumber, I had to improvise a little: I also added fresh carrots, grated on a coarse grater and seasoned with salad dressing (honey + soy sauce + lemon juice + olive oil), although I did not add onions and garlic, it turned out very tasty, reminded of Thai cuisine
