Help determine the choice of a blender
I chose 3 similar models for about the same price.

Recently, I got carried away with cooking, I really like to eat deliciously, and things are bad with restaurants in our village, especially on a non-tour. season. Therefore, a blender needs a solid one for many functions.

Earlier I had some kind of Braun with a bowl, it was impossible to grind anything in the bowl, it turned out disgusting and smeared on the walls. Used only the soup mash nozzle, it was metal and work fine.
Now we need a good chopper and to make small amounts of soups, mashed potatoes, minced meat, milkshakes, pancake dough, my husband needs the ice to break.

The most popular and at the same time a good model (judging a priori by the Yandex market)
Philips HR 1372
although there is quite often information that in a year the blender completely dies
There are quite a few pluses, for example, there is a large and a small bowl, 5 speeds (I read that the more speeds, the more opportunities) and there is a shutdown function when overheating, although the attitude towards it is ambiguous.

Next comes the Bosch MSM 7700 model. There are quite a few reviews, but the few that we managed to find are very good.
In terms of completeness, it is inferior to Phillips, it has only 1, but medium-sized bowl and only 2 speeds. In this model, which has only 2 speeds, it is not clear to me why there is an ice speed indicator, it worries me, because I see that the manufacturer is trying not to attract attention to the blender with quality, but with some stupid bells and whistles.

And I'm not really considering it yet, but I take into account the Braun Multiquik MR 730 model
He has the poorest equipment, but already 15 speeds, IMHO too much. There is no whisk and it is not clear whether it is possible to make a dough for pancakes.

There are very few reviews on blenders, all the more so that there is testing of the blender's operation and not just sucking on parameters, dimensions, weight, design and other secondary nonsense.
Here they write that Bosch did not cope well enough with some tasks
Here the girl used both Bosch and Phillips and writes that Bosch copes better with tasks. Her reviews do not give me the final decision on the choice. I even registered on this site to ask her in more detail, but she does not answer.
good review about phillips and type according to the results of independent testing
Phillips is also good in the cocktail test
There is no comparison of these particular models of Philips and Bosch, therefore it is difficult to choose between them.

If any of you uses one of these models, please write in more detail about the results of different tasks, how your blenders cope with them and whether you are satisfied with these results.

Why not consider Kevud ?? He is the only one with a three-bladed knife ..... and there are no mashed potatoes anywhere. By the way, I tested it on a cocktail ... and so Brown didn't do that ...

I looked at the HB 795 from the Grocery Store. According to the tests, I coped well with all the functions, but I do not need cutting, besides, the model also does not break ice. There are similar ones that prick, but they are all sharp and cost about 5 tons. R. I don’t need it and I don’t want to overpay for it. And there is no attachment in these models for mashed potatoes.

The model from the roller HB 724 is excellent and the mash nozzle impressed with the overall number of functions.
Didn't find anything about ice and minced meat. The ice probably doesn't hurt.

The rest of the models are with fewer functions and low power.

Do you use Kenwood? Are you happy with everyone? What model?

I wrote functions that are important if car.mashed potatoes will do well, and not turn into a paste - good, there is no, not a problem at all.
Ernimel
xia, in terms of functions, you would fit a brown 6550 with a small bowl + large bowl with an icebreaker insert and a whisk. If he dies, he will not die - this is a lottery, about the Phillips they write in the same way that they die for someone, but for someone they live forever. As an experienced Browser, I can say that from the point of view of ergonomics - everything is successful. From the point of view of the reliability of the plastic and accessories - super, everything is dishwashable and easy to remove and put, the knives are low and take small doses well, from the point of view of the motor ... see my several posts above.

ps: do not be fooled by the number of speeds, there is almost everywhere a smooth regulator from minimum to maximum, and there is a conditional gradation on it. By the way, the minimum on brown could be the least - the revolutions are high for my taste, and sometimes you just need to gently mix the protein into the dough. I don't know how the Phillips have with this moment ..
zvezda
I have Brown MR 570 PATIS FP K HC and Kenwood from the video. Kenwood costs 2700 !!!! And Brown-6000 ...... but now I would not take Brown. Minced meat Kenwood does, there's a pretty normal glass in there. Compared both at the same time, the difference is big ... Kenwood is much better. They made mayonnaise, a milk cocktail, chopped vegetables. She simply wipes puree through the holes, moreover, the diameter of the wipe is 10 cm. It is very convenient to wipe the cottage cheese !!! I immersed Kenwood in a hot pot ... in general, I tested it to the fullest !!! I am delighted with him !!!
xia
Yes, the price of the Kenwood from the video pleased for such opportunities. And the quality of the operations is good.
One seems to be only a minus, there is no ice pick, but I personally don't need it, so I'm probably inclined towards this Kenwood. And for ice picking let the husband want to buy separately.
In addition to the nozzle for mashed potatoes, the grinding bowl in which you do not need to correct anything is captivating, I can not stand it.
The price is lower than for Philips or Bosch.

Right now, a friend answered, who uses Phillips 1372 and says that I have to open and correct, I definitely don't need this. She has nothing to compare with, she did not do minced meat, otherwise she was happy.

Is it possible to make baby food on Kenwood HB790 \ 791 \ 795. Judging by the reviews, it is quite possible, but there is no shredder in the kit either! Or is it possible without a chopper?
zvezda
Great blender !! ! And mashed potatoes are made with your foot !!! There, by the way, there is a grater and a shredder !!!! And in the 795 model, it also hurts ice ... and there is a frother ...
Valyusha
Tell me how effective is the whipping function in the Kenwood HB 724 blender (the one from the roller), whether it whips the whites to stable peaks (whisk). And is this blender also convenient for preparing baby food?
zvezda
About proteins, if you want today, I will specially conduct an experiment later, but baby food, do you mean whether it mashed well ??? I just don't have small ones, but I use my leg often and I can say with confidence that apparently due to the triple knife, which is not found in any blender, it makes puree soup just fine. And the cocktails are whipped super !!! I simultaneously did 2 blendars ... by him and by Brown, and so there is a difference .... Kenwood is much better !!!! But I haven't used the third nozzle yet. I make mashed potatoes or cottage cheese almost every other day ..... the result is pleasing.
liquidboy
Comparing prices for Kenwoods, I wondered what operations the 724 model can do, but the 791 cannot?
zvezda
Take a look

they are generally different !!!
liquidboy
If they were similar, I myself would immediately understand the differences. The fact of the matter is that they are different! The question remains valid. Probably, in order to answer, you need to remember that 795 has a spatula, vegetable cutter and stand, and 724 has a glass and a chopper.

And why they add liquid in all the blender videos, we almost always need to blend without liquid!
xia
zvezda Thank you, thanks to your thoughts on Kenwood, I decided to take it all the same

Of course, the video was impressed, although before that I had watched the videos of both Phillips and Bosch and Brown, for some reason it was not so impressed.
In search of information about these 3 models, which I considered, I often came across good reviews about Kenwood, and again I trust the gastranoma test.

I didn’t consider it, because I thought it wasn’t for sale here, I live in Croatia right now, I don’t know what I didn’t look at, maybe also because the brand is completely unfamiliar to me.
It turned out that we also sell them, but there are fewer models, and the prices are much higher, but this is not a problem. For the new year, the guests are catching up, so they will bring them from Moscow.

The only negative, but not for me, but for my husband, is the lack of ice picks, but instead of it there is a plus, this is a mash nozzle.
At first I thought that I wasn’t really needed, but in the end I decided that I was making mashed potatoes, although it’s more of a man’s work, we love it and often cook it, so I personally need it more than chopping ice, besides, this function is in demand only in summer. And the quality of the operations performed is important to me, especially not picking with your finger in the chopper bowl.

Well, even yesterday we went shopping specially to touch everything, press the buttons, unfasten the attachments, etc. And even with such a simple first acquaintance, Kenwood made the best impression, it is incredibly pleasant to hold the buttons in your hand and the buttons are easy to press. Well, I have a good "nose" for quality things, but I need to touch them for this, the nose also said to take Kenwood

zvezda
xia I am very glad that our tastes are similar !!!!! : flowers: I also love high-quality equipment .... but about ice .... well, we really do not have it so much, but mashed potatoes are just lovely and I also really like to wipe the cottage cheese !!!!
Valyusha Sorry, I didn't have time to test the squirrels today: :) b ... but tomorrow I will definitely do it !!!!!
Margit
xia
A mixer is used for splitting. The Kenwoods have models with a metal mixer included, which is what they use for ice picking.

Silence...
Okay, let's forget about the good Kenwood-790 \ 791 \ 795 blender.
Tell me at least, the better the Kenwood 724 compared to the Phillips 1372? (not counting the nozzle for mashed potatoes and non-shutdowns when overheating which is not present)
xia
There is no video at all, even an advertising one, of Kenwu 790 \ 91 \ 95 blenders, I did not find anything.

I don't understand what the stick-shaped nozzle with 2 circles does? What is it used for?

Still not able to figure out what is there in the 791 ice pick? What is there to chop ice?)

mixing stick, judging by the description of the kit

The day before yesterday I called their support line, they said that they did not know if it was possible to make baby food on the 791st, and my request would be sent somewhere further. wait for an answer ...
zvezda
liquidboyin 724 new technology-TRIPLE knife in the very leg !!!!!! And the stick in 971 is a whisk. And to be honest, what does he break the ice with .... I didn't see either. They are completely different-971 still rubs and chops, I personally don't need it, mashed potatoes and knives are more important to me !!! And the price-971 is twice as expensive !!! For what purposes do you want to take it ???
xia
And what exactly can you whip with this stick? Can you whip the froth for a cappuccino?
And if this stick whips, then probably there the "leg" does not rotate but up / down or is it with the help of doctoring this stick?

And can this stick attachment be used in the 724 model (buy it separately in this case)?
Or maybe the model 724 is already making froth for cappuccino?
There are 23 operations written there, but nowhere is there a list of these operations, probably this is only in the instructions .... if this is so, then it is strange from the manufacturer's side not to give full information on the capabilities of each model.

liquidboyFor what purposes do you want to take it?
if you want to say that the 724 is ideal for a small child, then I understand that, but I am also attracted by the possibility of a shredder ... but not for this money!
zvezda
there is no shredder at 724 !! But 971 is really expensive ...

Instructions for Kenwood 724 at this link.
Today I wanted to go buy, but I read that it is possible to whip products only at room temperature (and mashed potatoes?) and you cannot whip butter, sugar. That is, the cream is not how? Mayonnaise, too, is it impossible? Or is the instruction of life inconsistent?
celfh
I don't understand anything about these instructions. I went and read it again. Mayonnaise can be made. You can beat whites, but not sugar. And what?
I need to make a cream. So to buy a combine for this?

and I always beat the cream with a mixer ..., and with a blender, sugar is probably impossible so that the knives are not dull (IMHO), here mayonnaise is great with a foot, and I am straight into a saucepan from the fire, I do it (I have a brown metal tip , but I also look at Kenwood, like a Star, in case it breaks or suddenly a second one is needed ...) I also had a dilemma in addition to a blender or a mixer with a bowl or a combine to buy (the task and the dough are to knead both proteins and butter cream in small quantities), after much thought and advice and opinions from members of the forum, I stopped at Kenwood-260 for myself (the price is adequate, the power is not less than that of other mixers, while (I realized, maybe I’m mistaken and don’t know how the quality will be) and dough for dumplings and protein and oil cream in small doses, and the fact that there are no additional attachments and other things that are full in all combines, it only makes me happy - because you only need whisks and hooks ...)
zvezda
Where did you see that sugar is prohibited? : o Protein cream of course you can !!! And for hot ones, there is a special nozzle in it, so that you can mix right in the pan !!!!
obgorka_gu Now I'll see your choice ...
zvezda
Great choice!!!!! He does not shred, but over time you can just buy separately for 1800 a harvester with 6 attachments ..... well, if you need it !!! And you can buy a meat grinder if you wish ...

I finally got my blender yesterday
I have not figured it out yet, later I will definitely write my opinion on its use in more detail.

At the moment, I don't understand how to store it, there is no stand ...
Today my husband made an omelette with a whisk, and it’s not clear where to stick the blender when he did something ...
Maybe there is something suitable from other Kenwood models ... I'll try to get it from the service ...

My husband did not like the tight gear shifting, maybe it will develop ...
Ernimel
At the moment, I don't understand how to store it, there is no stand ...
I have an Ikea hanging plastic container on the wall under my blender. It is very convenient - a motor with a wire, plus a favorite spare part (a leg and / or a corolla, for example, and my vacuumizer usually dangles there) just goes there. I don’t remember his name, but they had a whole series of different colors, fastened with two screws or two hooks if there is a railing (wall tire), it can be hung on a round railing just like that.

And you will not be difficult to provide a link to this container.
I looked at the Ikea website and found nothing similar to the container you described.
I am also still interested in the whipping stick from expensive Kenwood models, my husband will soon go to Moscow, I would like to understand whether it is worth buying it for his 724 model or not, I still don’t understand what exactly it is whipping.
zvezda
Congratulations on your purchase !!!!! : flowers: Tell me, which blender has coasters? : o I have 2 Brown and none of them have anything .... but about the whisk .... I myself do not understand. what he whips. The speeds are really tough to switch ... but I think it's a plus, so that they don't accidentally switch while the speed is running ...
Ernimel
And you will not be difficult to provide a link to this container.
I looked at the Ikea website and found nothing similar to the container you described.
I also did not find them in the catalog, although they are constantly in the store with them, I do not believe that they suddenly run out completely. We usually go to teplostan or go for a drive in Leningrad.
From what we have - a bit similar:
But it's just white, and a slightly different mount. And the meaning is the same and will most likely fit in size.

Mine looks like this:
Blender
At the back there are two notches that can be hooked onto the screws (as I have) or hooked directly onto the protrusion for the round tire.

There are also different colors, as if it was black, red and green. They lie where all the hanging-wall pieces are. We just bought it for a long time.
Ernimel
Quote: zvezda

Here I gave a reference to them .... and they cost 39r !!
Exactly - they are! It's just that I climbed three times in the kitchen categories and did not find them, in this very series I only showed hooks and pendants. But it happens to them that the product from the site drops out somewhere. They were really worth a penny - I remember that.
liquidboy
Interesting, but the link is not yellow

So, about blenders
We bought Philips 1372. We didn’t use it, because I was thinking of changing it to Kenwood 724. I thought for a week and a half. Finally, I went to change. They did not accept it, they said it should not be adopted by law, they gave a bunch of references to the laws. Okay, let's start using it. There are no delights. The noise is quieter only, compared to the old weak model. But the child is already accustomed to that buzzing, as soon as he hears it, he immediately starts jumping with happiness And now he's gone ... (buzzing)

Now we use the chopper only for apples, for other purposes and the main leg is enough (that's all, the power lets you know!)
xia
And I still have not found what exactly 23 functions can be performed by Kenwood 724, there is no instruction in this. On the manufacturer's website too.

I do not understand the manufacturer, who declares the number of functions in all models, but does not write at all what functions are there and how the consumer should choose, maybe someone does not need so many functions ...
As usual, I will have to write to the consumer while I write to the Russian representative office, although, of course, it is more efficient to write directly to the main thing, but I will give the Russian a chance.
Ernimel
Interesting, but the link is not yellow
Yeah, and red too. Changed the plastic ruler, apparently. And I, therefore, now have an exclusive ...

Quote: xia

And I still have not found what exactly 23 functions Kenwood 724 can perform,
No, well, kaaak! You can use them to 1. beat the eggs 2. beat the whites 3. beat the yolks ..... 15. cut the onion 16. cut the cheese 17. cut the parsley 18. cut the dill .... and that's not all !!
xia
Yes, it's a little funny, but I still like to dig my hobbies like that

and 23 functions are declared, not operations, these are different things, for example, cutting parsley and dill, etc. greens are one function

Today I made mashed potatoes, just delight is excellent mashed potatoes and so quickly, I have never even whipped it to such a correct consistency by hand, now there is one less problem.

zvezda
Oh ... I felt relieved right from my heart ... very happy xia what did you like!!!! The last time I took literally one more minute at 2 speeds, whipped it with a whisk .... generally mortality !!! And how he blends .... with his unique 3 knives ..... I'm absolutely delighted .... And where did you read about these 23 functions ??? I'll try to analyze ...
xia
Found information on the "stick" attachment from an expensive Kenwood

This is a frother nozzle, "it will make sauce, milkshake, milk froth for a cappuccino well"

now I would like to find out if it fits the 724 model ...

Another mystery to me is what is the pulse mode? Is this really some kind of mode or stupid short presses on the turbo button? (I can't press briefly and the onion turns into mush)
zvezda
Press not on TURBO but at speed !!!! I chop the onion by 2 !!
shoko11
With some delay, but today Santa Claus got to me and handed Kenwood 724.
zvezda, thank you for sharing your impressions in such detail, with your light hand, and Moroz decided to order this particular model.

And about 23 functions are written on a paper label that was on the blender.
xia
shoko11 oh, arrives in our ranks, and what a popular gift

I have a blender without packaging, it was transported by plane, there is no piece of paper, but can you take a picture of yours and put it out? Well, it's VERY interesting what functions are provided by the manufacturer
shoko11
So far I've tried only the main leg and the puree attachment. Well, what can I say, the sensations are still contradictory. I made a cocktail pineapple + banana + coconut milk - beat it for a long time, I expected more power. In an ordinary non-submersible, it seems to me, I would have done it faster. I will continue to test.
zvezda, could you please share why Kenwood is so superior in making cocktails compared to brown?

But I really liked the crush, I tested it on cottage cheese. Usually I am lazy, in many recipes it is advised to pass it through a meat grinder. Now this is not a problem.
xia, my Santa Claus still owes me a pancake with a waffle iron, not yet available (((.
As for the paperwork, my husband has already thrown it out in my opinion. In fact, this is just a tiny advertising label: on a black background there are images of all attachments and under them the inscriptions "" 23 functions ", without any explanation.
xia
I was already dreaming about the list of functions (I am preparing a letter to the office, let them explain)
But while I'm trying to find something myself on my own questions, what happens.
It is still not clear about the nozzle for mixing in a pan, how it differs so much that it is she who needs to mix in the pan ... although my question is different, I know that plastic cannot be added to a boiling liquid and everywhere it is advised that it be metal. there was a nozzle so as not to wait for cooling, but immediately grind, for example, a puree soup. And these write that the plastic nozzle for the pan, some kind of nonsense turns out ...

The crush is really just SUPER, there are no complaints about it
Today I whipped the whites, I haven't done this before, I'm not really into cooking at all, I just got carried away, there is nothing to compare with, but I did not expect that it would take 7-8 minutes at least 7-8 minutes to whisk 4 proteins, but it was whipped normally, probably this is there are mysterious stable peaks when the glass turned over; nothing fell out, as in advertising
I also made the dough for the cake with a whisk, the whisk seems to work well too, although again I have nothing to compare with
I also finely chopped lemon skins for a pie in a bowl, I would have to cut it by hand for a long time, and of course I am very pleased that I don’t need to correct it with my fingers, it really doesn’t smear on the walls
Well, in Cheshe I also tried to chop tomatoes, I also liked it, I cook a lot of things on tomatoes and I get bored of peeling and cutting them, and so right with the peel in the bowl and the peel is no longer a problem
Mayonnaise has not yet turned out to be normal, but it's probably not in the blender. In one recipe, it was written that it was possible to make a variant of sprouting on whole eggs with the usual foot, there was a lot of foam, I had to switch to a whisk. I will try again.

zvezda
Let's point by point ....
1. The cocktail should be whipped in a tall narrow glass and in TURBO mode.
2. From Brown (by the way, very much I loved earlier, after all, the old one was better, I think the intrigues of manufacturers) with power, three-leggedness is felt and nothing flies with the foot itself.
3.about the nozzle in the pan - it is made of special food-grade plastic that can withstand high temperatures and in a large volume it is more convenient to mix with THREE knives and a LARGE area.
4. The whisk is great !!!! I really liked to make mashed potatoes with a crush, and then a whisk. It differs from Brown in a shorter length and therefore does not wobble (as I wrote ...)
5. I will try to shoot mayonnaise on video and put it out. It turns out to be whack ...
leka
zvezda, tell me please, and at 724 how long can you whip the cream with a whisk. I beat Wet meringue for about 10 minutes without stopping ... is it possible on it? And then my Ros is old, already at its last gasp, the plastic is cracking all the same, 25 years old, And in Kenwood 020 you can't beat a couple
shoko11
zvezda, thanks for the answer. I whipped it in my own glass, first at 4 speeds. then on the turbo. While my hand is not quite used to the submersible, on the turbo my leg sticks to the bottom.
The whisk has not yet figured out how to test it, lately all the kesy and gingerbread, it seems like there is no need to whip.

xia, mayonnaise, in theory, should be easy. I got it just fine with an old Baltic blender. However, later I donated it to soap making.

leka, according to the instructions, the whisk can be used continuously for no longer than 3 minutes in a 10-minute period. I'm still wondering whether to follow the letter of the instructions clearly. Regarding the blender and thick mixtures, it is generally written that no more than 50 seconds in a 4-minute period of time. I think that we are also talking about continuous. When I was making a cocktail, I did it anyway for more than 50 seconds, but with breaks.
