Risotto with spinach

Ingredients

Rice (I have Indica Gold) 1 st.
Chopped frozen spinach 120g.
Vegetable oil 2st. l.
Butter 50g.
Bulb onions 1 PC.
Broth (I have water) 1 st.
Garlic (not put) 1 tooth
Cheese 50g.
Dried basil 1h l.
Salt pepper taste

Cooking method

  • Defrost the spinach. If the spinach is fresh, boil and chop.

  • Rinse the rice, pour boiling water over and leave for 5 minutes. Then drain the water.

  • Heat vegetable oil and 1/2 butter in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Add finely chopped onion, fry until golden brown.

  • Add rice there and fry, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.

  • Add hot broth (I have hot water), spinach, basil, salt, pepper, crushed garlic. Stir well, cover and cook for 12 minutes, until the rice has absorbed all the liquid. I got it even in less time, somewhere around 8 minutes.

  • Do not open the pot after it is ready for 12 minutes !!! (of course I could not resist, I opened and tasted the rice, it was a little harsh)

  • Then put the grated cheese and the remaining butter, mix. Let it brew for another 10 minutes.

  • IT'S JUST DIVINE !!!!!!!!! YOU JUST HAVE TO TRY IT !!!!!!!

In general, today I accomplished a real feat - I cooked rice on the PLATE !!!!!! First time in life. Initially, I naturally wanted to cook in a multicooker, but I did not calculate the time, so I had to perverted get out.

Today I cooked in a multicooker:
On the Baking mode, I fried the onions, stirring the rice in the same place.

Then I added everything else according to the recipe, the Stew program for about 20 minutes, until all the water was absorbed.

Then butter + cheese. Turned on the heating for 10 minutes.

Got delicious, but tastier on the stove !!

Mistletoe, I made a risotto. To say that it is delicious is to say nothing. I was afraid that I would try so hard that the family would not be left.
There is no photo, it looks the same as yours.
I cooked it according to the recipe, with chicken broth, the cheese was the right Italian "Grana Podana" and the young garlic gives an excellent light note. Only the basil was not there, I also replaced it with a spicy herb - cilantro.It turned out great! I will repeat that the family was very happy.
