Ingredients

flour 500 - 550 g
warm milk 100 ml
warm cream 100 ml
sugar 110 g (8 tbsp. L. Measured)
salt 1.5 tsp. (dimensional)
butter 50 g
eggs 3 pcs.
yeast 1.5 tsp. (dimensional)
turmeric 0.5 tsp (usual)
dried apricots, raisins 40 g each

Cooking method

  • Easter cake - lick your fingers!
  • My developments (baked repeatedly):
  • in milk (I warm it well) I dilute sugar, salt and butter, pour it into a bucket
  • then pour cream into a bucket (I use 22%, but less is possible)
  • I slightly shake the eggs with a fork and pour them into a bucket
  • sift flour (directly into the bucket)
  • yeast - in a dimple in the center
  • I distribute turmeric in four corners - this is for a more yellow color
  • for an amateur - you can add vanillin, cordomon, cinnamon ...
  • Mode - sweet bread, large loaf
  • I control the batch, because the eggs are not always the same
  • Before the beeper, a beautiful bun should form, slightly oily
  • I add raisins, dried apricots, candied fruits along the beeper - whatever is at hand
  • Before baking, you can grease the top with an egg, or spread the top after baking with protein cream

I have been the owner of the HP DeLonghi BDM-075S for two weeks.
I really wanted to try baking Easter cake. There are several recipes on the site - but chose the fugaska recipe for the first experience. I trust, because I have already baked Poppy Curl 2 times, and I myself and loved ones are delighted with it.
So, I did everything exactly as in the recipe, but instead of turmeric (I couldn't find this seasoning anywhere) I added saffron for the color.
I added colorful candied fruits, raisins, slightly chopped hazelnuts, nutmeg along the beeper.
The cake turned out to be tall, tasty, but the roof tore a little (I read it before baking for 5 minutes to grease with water so that it does not break - does not smear it) Result in the photo:

Honestly in grams - I didn't weigh ... but I bought candied fruits in a bag - "Tropical cocktail" (pineapple, kiwi, papaya) 125 g - I liked that they were already in cubes and multi-colored ... More than half of the bag went to this cake - a gram 70 plus raisins, nuts ... A total of 100 grams - 120 colored and tasty additives.

Yesterday I made this cake, what can I say, he ran away from me out of the bucket.The cake turned out to be delicious, but with a white roof, I baked it in the oven and almost burned it off while distracted by another matter and forgot about it. Unfortunately, I didn’t take pictures, there was no camera (the children were already asleep, and he was in their room). Made with dried cherries, candied fruits and almonds. In the morning at work, the cake went with a bang. I will make Easter cakes for Easter following two recipes from this one and from Elena Bo.

the baking turns red very well, in principle, you don't need to heat it up after baking. but sometimes I left it on the heating for 15-20 minutes.

A question about a bun. Should it be as cool as when baking bread, or still not?
The fact is that 2 times I made butter dough in a bread machine, adding flour as when baking bread, so that the bun would lag well behind the walls and would not be smeared. But if the bread is always tasty and fluffy, then some pastry is not very tasty, although it rises normally and everything seems to be fine with it.
Maybe that's the case?

Do you have a "diet" (or "whole grain") regimen? At 255 in the instruction, Easter cake must be baked in this mode, because there the rise is longer than on the main one.

Therefore, they came up with the idea to take out the cake 7-10 minutes earlier. In terms of composition, the Easter cake from the instructions for Panas is not much different from ordinary butter bread, so it may well be baked in the main mode, with a change in the color of the crust to light.

All this I mean is that you should not be afraid of the whole grain mode when baking cakes. I was attracted by the fact that more time is given to raise the dough. I was anxiously waiting for the HP signal about the end of baking (suddenly the crust would burn), but when I opened the lid and saw the result, I realized that now I would boldly bake in this mode.

Thanks to the author for the recipe, I baked 3 Easter cakes according to different recipes, but I liked this one the most. I added apple and peanuts to it. Now I will bake like a loaf for tea.

After 2 hours, the roof of the bread machine was blown off !!!!! It is designed for me only 700g. I tried to press the lid down, but it resisted even more because of harm. Then I wanted to cut off the excess, but changed my mind .... As a result, I had to take the half-finished cake out of the bread machine and bake it in the oven.
I regret not having photographed this freak :))) The design of the Easter cake is a "nuclear mushroom". But delicious !!!! The second cake was baked, having reduced the "dose" by 2 times. It turned out the very thing!
So for mugs like me, you need to indicate the mass at the output in the recipes ... here :)

I also want to say thank you for the recipe for this cake (and not only). True, in KhP I only kneaded the dough, and baked it in the oven in 2 forms, because I wanted 2 small cakes. In the dough, I replaced milk with whey, added walnuts and raisins, and a little saffron instead of turmeric. I kept the proportions exactly as in the recipe. It turned out very tasty, thanks!
