Ingredients

Cakes:
Condensed milk 1 can
Eggs 1 PC.
Wheat flour 3 tbsp.
Soda (slaked) 1 tsp
Custard cream:
Milk 500 ml
Wheat flour 4 tbsp. l.
Eggs 2 pcs.
Sugar 1.5 cups
Vanilla sugar 2 tbsp. l.
Butter / margarine 200 g

Cooking method

  • Cakes:
  • Knead the dough (it turns out to be soft) so that it does not stick to your hands and roll out well (be careful, do not shift the flour, otherwise there will be hard cakes). We put a frying pan on the stove for heating. Divide the dough into 8 parts, roll it out to a size slightly larger than the diameter of the pan, prick in several places with a fork and put it on a dry preheated pan. After a minute, turn over (the cakes are fried very quickly, so you need to make sure not to burn). Cut off the removed cake (the cuttings will then be used to sprinkle the cake). It takes me a maximum of 30 minutes to knead the dough and bake the cakes.
  • Custard cream:
  • Author's note: instead of 4 tbsp. I took 2 tbsp of flour. spoons (with a slide). And instead of 1.5 cups of sugar, I took 1 cup of sugar.
  • So, put all the ingredients in a saucepan (except for butter), beat with a whisk and cook over low heat, stirring, until thickened. Add butter to the hot cream and beat with a mixer. Grease the cakes with hot cream.
  • Everything! In total, you have a cake ready in an hour! Let it soak for an hour and BON Appetit! "
  • And now my comments.
  • Instead of soda, I put 2 tsp in the dough. baking powder. I put the cakes on the frying pan with my hands, did not prick with a fork. At first I tried to roll out the dough without flour, so as not to "hammer", but for transferring this is a dead number, so pour flour during rolling, without skimping. This attempt took a lot of my time. The cakes rolled with flour like clockwork. First I baked the cakes, then I made the cream. The cakes are baked very quickly, do not yawn or count the crows I got 7 cakes, the diameter of the pan is 21-22 cm. But next time I will roll out the dough thinner so that 8 cakes come out.
  • I made the cream from a liter of milk using 360 g of butter (we do not use margarine), IMHO, the amount of butter and, in general, its presence in the cream, each varies according to its taste, I put 360-400 g of sugar (I weighed, but did not write down, therefore don't remember exactly). More sugar is definitely not needed, for our taste. The flour for the cream is browned in a frying pan so that the cream has a characteristic taste. I did not lose with the amount of cream !!! But if you like dry cakes, then the amount of cream and soaking time can be reduced. She did not press the cakes so that all the cream would remain between them.
  • It took 2 hours to prepare the cake, but it would be much less if I started rolling the cakes right away on flour.
  • The cake became much tastier after a day and a half: both the taste was revealed, and the humidity was greater. And in two days it's just a song! So, now I will make this cake at least a day before the tea party. We all loved this cake! It is easy to prepare, but it is not a shame to put it on the festive table, because it is TASTY !!! Now I definitely do not need to buy an oven for the dacha, I will make cakes in a frying pan..

  • PySy: the cake was a trial one, intended for home tea drinking, so it does not differ in decoration. The top cake is smaller in diameter, because initially it should have become crumb, but then there would be some cream remnants.
