Turkey Almost dietary stew with potatoes


Turkey thigh fillet 800-900 g
Potato 1 kg
Sour cream (mayonnaise is also possible) 4 tbsp. l.
Bulb 1 PC.
Salt, black pepper,
dry garlic
A small piece of cheese (optional)

Cooking method

  • We cut the turkey into small pieces 2.5x2.5 cm, salt, pepper, add dry garlic, put it on the bottom of a pan made of fireproof glass (we do not use oil).
  • Lubricate 1 - 2 tbsp. l. sour cream and put onions, cut into half rings.
  • We cut the potatoes into "cubes" with sides of 7x7 mm, salt and spread on top.
  • Lubricate with sour cream, close the lid and send to an oven preheated to 220 degrees for 1 hour 30 minutes.
  • About 10 minutes before the end of cooking, you can add grated cheese and return to the oven, do not cover with a lid so that the cheese will brown a little.

This dish is called almost dietary because it contains "additional fats" - sour cream and a little cheese.
Thanks to the long stewing, the turkey is very soft.
