Lamb stewed with tomatoes in a Panasonic multicooker

Ingredients

Mutton
(I had a chilled leg of lamb,
chopped into pieces
freed from bones, films, etc.)
about 500 g
Large onion 1 PC.
Head of garlic 1 PC.
Jar of tomatoes in their own juice 1 PC.
Salt pepper

Cooking method

  • Cut the lamb into pieces about the size of a matchbox.
  • Finely chop the onion and garlic.
  • Peel the tomatoes and mash with a fork.
  • In a saucepan ("Baking" mode) in vegetable oil, I fried onions and garlic until golden brown. Then I put the meat on top, a little salt and pepper. After 5 minutes, she turned the meat over, salted and pepper again. After another 5 minutes I added tomatoes and juice from them, so that the meat was covered, a few peas of black pepper and "Stew" for 2 hours.
  • I cooked lamb for the first time, and was afraid that it would be harsh. Therefore, after the multi signal, I turned on "Baking" for 25 minutes.

Note

I'll make a reservation right away, the recipe is not mine, it was the result of thinking over various recipes for cooking lamb from different sites, in relation to what was in the bins.

The result was a very soft tasty meat, which was swept away by homemade ones in one sitting at almost ten in the evening.
Unfortunately, there is no photo, as the batteries in the camera ran out.

I sometimes make a similar dish, though I haven’t tried it with canned tomatoes yet, and it must be very interesting - they have a slightly different taste, and more juice.

I also add a lot of basel and cilantro, very tasty !!

It seems to me that it probably will not be bad if you add Bulgarian pepper as well, it will be almost like lecho with lamb ...
