Spicy pork with dried apricots

Ingredients

500 gr pork (shoulder, ham)
1 sweet bell pepper
2-3 celery stalks
10 pcs dried apricots
0.5 tsp ground ginger
0.5 tsp ground cardamom
salt
1 tablespoon butter

Cooking method

  • Chop vegetables very finely and fry in a sauté or a heavy-bottomed pan in butter until transparent, add thinly chopped dried apricots.
  • Cut the pork into random pieces about 1 cm thick, put in a frying pan / sauces with vegetables and fry a little, stirring occasionally, add salt and spices. Cover the skillet / saucepan and cook over low heat until the meat is tender for about 1 hour.
