In Finnish national cuisine, the main dishes are based on fresh and natural products that alternate with the seasons. It contains oriental features that make ordinary dishes rare and unique.
The basis of any menu in a Finnish restaurant is seafood, fish, vegetables, berries, mushrooms and various game. From national dishes you should try salmon soup, wild duck with forest mushrooms, fish pie and Blueberry pieand also desserts made from cloudberries and lingonberries.
