Review of ultrasonic humidifier Polaris PUH 4405D |
We all love clean and fresh air after rain. I would very much like to breathe easily at home. But this is not easy to achieve. But the state of our health largely depends on the temperature and humidity in the premises. Many, probably, noticed that during the heating season (and especially towards the end of the season, when all hygroscopic finishing materials and furniture have dried out well), an increased thirst appears, the mucous membrane of the lips, nose, eyes dries up, the skin peels off and even painful cracks appear on the fingers hands. Residents of urban high-rise buildings with central heating and plastic windows facing the sunny side are especially affected. All of this suggests that the indoor air is too dry. Regular ventilation does not create normal humidity and cleanliness of the air in the room. Some people (including myself, it is true, already in the past tense) try to humidify the air with improvised means, for example, put wet towels on radiators or even try to dry clothes in living quarters. However, all these measures do not provide the desired effect. Having experienced all the "charms" of dry air, I became interested in this issue several years ago. Having studied the available information, I realized that it is almost impossible to achieve normal humidity in a room without special climatic devices (humidifiers). And so it happened! I received a Polaris PUH 4405D ultrasonic humidifier as a gift. This is what the box looks like: And here is the device itself. At first glance, it is quite compact and easy to store. Device dimensions (width / length / height) 22 * 20 * 30 cm. Cord length 150 cm. Touch control panel. Above is a diffuser through which a "fog", consisting of the smallest droplets of water, enters the room. The diffuser can be easily removed:
... and behind. Visible handle for easy removal of the water tank (cistern) from the base. This is what the tank looks like when removed from the base. Sideways ... ... and below: Here it is with the lid off. You can see the hole through which water is poured into the tank. Tank lid top, side, bottom: This is what the base of the humidifier looks like without a tank: There is a remote control: The instruction in Russian is quite intelligible and detailed. The device during operation: All buttons are turned on / off with just a light touch of your fingers. |
