The truth is mostly on the water ...

Here is an option for all tastes ... Herculean porridge portioned in a water bath https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=192723.0

And on water and milk - all at once!

Why do we cook on a multi-cooker? is there a "cook" mode? Or is the "cooker" not suitable for liquid cereals?
Kashyarka mode for porridge on the water, it has a very high temperature It will simply "burn out" in milk
Petukhova
Ah ... it's logical. I recently tried to cook rolled oats in milk on a "cooker" - the whole bottom was burnt and I already thought that I was mistaken somewhere, maybe in proportions ... Now everything is clear, thanks !!!

I cooked milk porridge with buckwheat for breakfast today - great !!!! Taste from childhood
sazalexter

Yes, 1 m glass of milk, as a rule, we take 1 liter. Porridge turns out to be closer to smudge.

And so that friable wheat for example on water?

You need to take other proportions of cereal / water, and the cooking time is completely different
on water 1 \ 2, time on a multi-cook at a temperature of 110-120 minutes 12.
It is possible on Kashevarka, but there it seems to stick to the bottom.
You have to try everything.

thanks, I'll try. And then the husband says already "Bring the pot back!"

I have a model 1055. I cooked cereals in milk porridge and on side dishes. To be honest, I didn't really like it. Now we needed porridge without milk, on the water. I cooked millet according to the recipe from this topic. I want to say that it was cooked just amazingly. Delicious crumbly millet porridge. It seems to me that I have never tasted such well-cooked millet.
So, I washed 1 multi-glass of millet, filled it with water to mark 2, multi-cook for 45 minutes at 90 g. I cooked without sugar, then generously seasoned with ghee.

In general, now I will only cook according to this recipe. I also want to try buckwheat. And corn, then spelled, but they probably need more time? I haven't met the yachka in stores for a long time.
I also really like in this case that the heating is automatically turned on on the multi-cooker, in case of porridge it is very positive. For example, on milk porridge after the end of the program, the heating does not turn on (which is strange, why is this so conceived for them?)
In this regard, a question arose to the author: do you put the porridge in the night, while you have a delayed start, or do you put it on a multi-cook right away and then it costs 7 hours on heating?
sazalexter
Angelica1 I am very glad that the technology for cooking porridge came in handy.I put the porridge on a delayed start, that is, it is cooked in my house in the morning
Angelica1
Doesn't the milk turn sour in the evening?
sazalexter
Angelica1 It does not turn sour, although in the heat I use ultra-pasteurized or sterilized milk.

Hello! Now I put rice in the morning - I was afraid of millet. After all, at first it is boiled so that it does not taste bitter in water, and then it is boiled in milk. Tell me, please, is it not bitter for you?
Gibus
In order not to taste bitter, it is customary to bring it to a boil in water, and then drain this water.
I just wash it in very hot water several times. Then you can pour boiling water for a couple of minutes. Drain and cook as usual. Doesn't taste bitter.
sazalexter
cdoctor It never tasted bitter, just wash well, first in hot water, then in cold water. Mine so that after millet there is relatively clear water
Elena_Chernega
Can you please tell me some oatmeal for 1055?
sazalexter
Elena_Chernega, I don't have 1055, but it seems to me you can cook as well as 1054, multi-cook 90 * C, 60 minutes.
Irinabr
So that the milk does not turn sour, when you put the porridge overnight, I add ice instead of water (1 part water and the right amount of milk parts) and milk from the refrigerator. I always have a couple of measuring cups of water frozen in my freezer. Well, not the glass itself, of course, it is always in use, but the corresponding amount of water in any other container. And then you can pour milk not only sterilized, but any. Cooking with a delayed start, in the morning, and do not forget about an hour to insist on heating.
Does not turn sour. Checked!
