Girls, can you tell us more about the hood with its filters?
How to wash it with the least loss? I only had enough imagination to put grates in the bathtub and pour ammonia there and wash with soap. And then the gene. cleaning the bathtub itself ... and plus a waste brush, which was used to rub the grates ... and plus a headache ...
Something goes crazy.
Thank you in advance!

Irina13, the best means for removing fat, I do not know: anti-fat NOISE (BAGI Israel). I tried a lot of things before him)))

I have been removing grease from the hood grates lately. Vinegar 9%. I spray it with a pulivezer and a kitchen brush. The fat rolls off. True smell ....
Elya_lug
In one video, a guy boiled water in a large saucepan, poured soda and lemon, then dipped the grill from the hood, first one half, then the second, rubbed it with a brush and everything was clean almost from the first seconds. I haven't checked it yet.

What are we arguing about?
Your filters are still clean, the hood is 8-9 years old.

dopleta, exactly. I'm tired of washing the tiles near the stove! I want to buy a steam cleaner after the new year, when the excitement will pass, and I will understand which one I need (but a little, probably). I don’t like to wash anything ...

The Amway Tassel thing is good, but caustic ...

Ekaterina, we spray "Shumanit" on the tiles, after 5 minutes (maximum after 10) we wash off with a cloth, without applying any effort. But be sure to wear gloves.
Irina13
Thank you for your help!
I found Shumanit in Vimos (a new formula, with a more pleasant smell). True, our grandmother immediately ran away to the far corner of the apartment. On the contrary, I was able to work with him (as opposed to ammonia - I can't stand it, but my grandmother works with him).

Only sooo need to be careful !!!! I never worked with glasses, but here in the first minute I got a small drop ricocheting into my eye - I had to rinse it with water for a long time and went right to get the glasses.

But I have never seen such bars inside. It's a pity that they have been with us for a long time and not 100% washed. If only to wash them from the very beginning ... I liked it - I sprayed it, waited, and brushed it as it happens under a stream of hot water (when you shake the grate, brown water pours into the bathtub). But everything is washed off in liquid form and it is not scary that it will solidify in lumps in the pipe.
Here's the feeling - there really is not enough water pressure, maybe with a steam cleaner and all the remaining lumps would have blown out (I think these are lumps of dust with fat and just can't wash them like that, maybe try with a toothpick).

Another drawback (though we are already indifferent) - we probably have aluminum gratings, and Shumanite is not recommended for aluminum. So they became covered with whitish spots.

Sincerely. Irina.

Happy everyone!

I agree, Shumanit thing! Relatively recently I bought it in a store in the country, but Moscow did not come across it to me. I washed everything for them easily, but I took it without a spray, but just in a bottle.

I have been using it for a long time, an excellent tool, it washes everything. It's very convenient to use, soaked it, wiped it after half an hour - everything is clean without any effort. That's just the smell ... my husband goes out for a walk.
We almost always have it on the market, I try to take it in bottles without a spray bottle, I like it better.

Yes, I also open the window and turn on the hood. In bottles, there is less nasty sighs, when in a spray bottle

Shumanit is beautiful, but very dear to me. I opened Cinderella for myself, I did not think that a product for 20 with something rubles would actually wash anything, but it is no worse than Sanita, and the one that was before, when she still had a white package. Now "Sanita" is less thermonuclear. I also like "Parma" in terms of price-quality ratio, but it cleans well only on a hot surface, there is a lot of chemical vapor from this. Only if you spray and run out.
And everything that fits in a large pan, even glass, even a teapot, enamel, anything that cannot be washed (or just someone is too lazy to rub)), I boil with soda and office glue. This is a wonderful way! I put it in a saucepan, waited, took it out, washed it and that's it, no need to rub)

There is an easier way. In the maximum permissible hot water (for plastic it is one, for steel dishes - another) pour in approximately equal proportions any washing powder and BFB bleach. Leave for several hours, you can overnight, only by covering the container with a suitable lid. Everything goes with a bang. You can clean not only steel but also all kinds of plastic containers. Contraindicated for Teflon and pure aluminum. Only the capacity should be taken a little more, since the biofeedback is very foaming.
Hope Ging
Ipatiya, I wonder, have not met such a method yet. And for what kind of pollution? Fat, removes carbon deposits? And how much powder and bleach do you need?
Lёlik
Hope Ging, just, recently, only glue Moment meets. And the clerical, this is something from the distant past :). I'll have to take a closer look.
Ipatiya
Hope Ging, here is the full description.

Here's what I found on the internet. Taken from here 🔗.

Since such a conversation has already started, I will tell you how I clean kitchen utensils. Easily! This method is ideal for enameled dishes (pots, teapots), glass and porcelain, especially with a carved texture (everything usually accumulates there), stainless steel and cutlery, household plastic. The only thing - NOT SUITABLE FOR ALUMINUM! It will turn black! and is not suitable for Teflon either !!!
So: I collect everything in the kitchen that needs to be cleaned (especially a lot of such good in kitchens with gas stoves without a hood). I take a large-large basin or a bucket (it doesn't matter plastic or enameled), put all the utensils sentenced for cleaning there, pour 0.5-1 glass of any washing powder on top (ideally, dissolve it in a small volume in advance and pour it in liquid form). Above, for an even stronger effect, 0.5 cup of powder stain remover bleach (I like BOS, ACE, Antipyatin). By the way, it can also be dissolved with powder in advance.and pour boiling water on top of the whole thing (straight from the tap, with the hottest water possible.) And leave it overnight. all! In the morning we take out, wipe with a sponge and our teapots and spoons are like new! For ribbed surfaces, you can use a brush. and for heavily soiled things - a hard washcloth. We rinse under running water and that's it! Everything shines with purity, and most importantly, effortlessly! Enzymes and active ingredients of the powder literally dissolved all the stains! I used to have an enamel teapot, so my friends were all surprised that it shines and everything is like new, although it was already a year and a half. And I bathed him every 2 weeks ...))) This method is ideal for greasy dirt, yellow greasy old plaque, adhering droplets of fat, etc.

And if you need to clean the dishes from burnt residues inside, then this method will do.

Quote: Song *

this method has been improved for a long time - we add oxygen bleach BFB to hot water. And truncated ... Let the dishes lie down a little, turn sour and everything will easily go away. And no glue, soda, powder ...

The absolute analogue of Shumanite is Scrubman Antizhir, the price is somewhere around 170-180 rubles. And Scrubman Acrilor is absolutely identical to Akrilan from the same Bugs, though it smells worse. Moved completely to them. Recommend.

Girls, can you tell us more about the hood with its filters?
Although we are not all girls here, we can do it in more detail ...

We exclusively use SANO FORTE PLUS to clean the hood filters. The agent is very aggressive, but it saves and brings to its original state even the most dirtied aluminum filters with a long-term thickness of stuck petrified fat and soot. It has a 5-star rating, which is the maximum. It's almost the same on Otzovik. Recommend!

How to remove fat (hard, caked, burnt, etc.)?
Bijou
It looks very much like the abrasive sponges that the gypsies traded with us 10-15 years ago.)) It rubbed well. But not for long. If you come across a fat that is not too hard, to a crunch, then the pores are clogged with soft oil and the sponge stopped working.

From burnt fat, that is, from soot, in which there is no longer a fatty component, it burned out, but stuck tightly.
Bijou
Well, faith is a good thing too.
You can even believe that water softens with chlorine ions.

You can even believe that water softens with chlorine ions.
Chlorine ions in the resin in the ion exchanger take calcium from the water, the amount of which in the water determines the hardness of the water.
Bijou
Quote: Kapet
Where did you read this?
Kapet, you.
Quote: Kapet

The dishwasher is equipped with an ion exchanger so that it works properly. This is the reservoir that contains the chlorine ion resin. Water, passing through such an ion exchanger, leaves magnesium and potassium ions in it, and thus becomes purified and softer. And what, then, is salt for?
To replenish the ion exchanger with chlorine ions salt (NaCl) is added to it, containing chlorine... Negative chlorine ions attract positive ions such as magnesium. Thus, the cleaning system works.
Or are you not in the habit of reading what is written?))
Kapet
Bijou, We stop this offtopic until it reaches the flame ...

Shl. Water is softened not by chlorine ions, but with the help of them. See above...
Bijou
Kapet,

in everyday life to eliminate calcium used cation exchangers... Not anionites. That's all. Further is elementary, you just have to penetrate a little bit, the very drop.

To be responsible for your recommendations in disputes.

Bijou,
Dear,

I did not mention any cation exchangers, anion exchangers, or amphoteric ion exchangers. All of them are ion exchangers. I mentioned ions. And then - just quoted a couple of paragraphs from the site, for a general understanding of the process.

What to do if the fat on the bottom of the pan or on the stove has not yet completely burned out, but is just polymerized, flexible oil? Fry it further?
Quote: Kapet
What is the problem?

The fact that it is not chlorine that takes part in the cation exchange on the resin, but sodium, not?))

That's it, you want to show off your knowledge - welcome to a specialized topic, I'll be happy to learn something useful.

Personally, this often happens with us: on the glazed ceramics Emile Henry, after baking something in the oven and after washing in the PMM, there are rare stuck-on pinpoint areas of carbon. There are no oily traces on the soot anymore - the dishwasher did an excellent job with this. But the deposit itself has become attached. It is in such cases that such an eraser is required from carbon deposits ...

And for the case described by you, I have already mentioned: SANO FORTE PLUS. Pshik-pshik, and after 2 minutes it is clean, it remains only to rinse / wipe thoroughly. In any case, this is not soot yet, and an eraser has nothing to do with such contamination ...
Bijou
Kapet, that it is clear that there is a lot to pshiknut.
I just saw the pictures and remembered my “enthusiasm” of that time - you don’t need to do anything, don’t need to put on gloves, you don’t need to rinse under the tap for a long time either. Rubbed-rubbed and beauty.

But when all the clean sides and corners ended, it became boring and offensive. )) Although it may very well be that new sponges are completely devoid of such a drawback, for this they just need to become more tender and easier to wash off themselves. Well, I thought so.
Kapet
Bijou,
Yes, you expect a miracle from everything! Even from bamboo dishcloths ...
Bijou
Oooh .. Bamboo, by the way, almost did not disappoint expectations! Only for some reason they are cheap, not expensive.

* however, I did not expect washing without soap from them, so I have not even tried it even once in several years
OlgaGera
What are bamboo rags? I associate bamboo only with grass and a fishing rod, sorry
OlgaGera
I have such good .... there are many. I came to the conclusion - in order not to exercise and not make unnecessary unnecessary movements, everything is washed in my PMM. And what has not been laundered can be easily washed off with a soft cloth, without unnecessary efforts and chemicals.
