Ingredients

Wheat flour 500 g
Milk 250 ml
Molasses or sugar 30 g
Oil 100 g
Salt 1/2 tsp
Honey 500 g
Baking powder 1 pack.
Candied orange peel 60 g
Cinnamon 1 tsp
Anise 1/2 tsp
Ginger 1/2 tsp
Caraway 1/2 tsp

Cooking method

  • Melt honey and butter in milk. Sift flour and mix with all dry ingredients. Pour milk mixture into flour and mix thoroughly. The dough turns out to be of a different consistency every time, since it is highly dependent on honey. In any case, it should not be very steep, rather soft and even on the verge of liquid.
  • I did not try to make it in a bread maker; to get the "correct" state, you need to bake it as in the recipe - at a low temperature and for a long time.

Time for preparing:

1.15 - 1.30 until ready

Cooking program:

Place the dough in a greased pan and bake at 150 ° C
