jonny
Good day everyone, dear waffle bakers)))
please help me choose ... or not choose)))
How many minutes does one tab of Viennese waffles bake in a 700W multi-baker?
And the same question about the pro, which is 1400W
I found reviews that "you will die while you wait, you need a more powerful waffle iron" and which one .... with a capacity of more than a thousand is very small (
Did someone measure how much faster a multibaker is about a regular multibaker? Or is it just that extra power is being spent on a larger service, and the time is almost the same?
Thank you very much! I really hope for your feedback, because in other places, it seems to me, there are a lot of fake ones, but you are all real here :-)

Maybe not as much drawn as from the test. True, this is self-indulgence, from the test I liked it more, faster somehow. Well, for children, it's cool for the table.

These are bakers with obvious defects. Normally, everything is baked quickly. The first two bookmarks are a little longer, maybe while it is getting hotter, but at least I didn’t have the feeling “well, when already, come on faster”
In a multi-baker-pro, power is spent on heating a larger area, yes. In time, one serving is about the same in both small and large.
Alenka212
Cirre, JiriThanks for the tips. There would be no discount, I would just look at it. And now I want to, and do I need it. Thoughts gripped.

Alenka212, Lena, in fact it is not very functional, but beautiful. It is pleasant to serve at the table. After all, you can make something like carrot, potato cutlets in it. Only finely grate, then the shape of the fish will be

Hello! I want to share my recipe for waffles, found in an old notebook with recipes, thanks to the fact that the long-awaited multi-oven was bought.
In the original, everything in the recipe is measured in mayonnaise jars, but I will write in the proportions in which I just baked thick waffles.
so:

200 gr. mayonnaise
150-250 gr. sugar, depending on how sweet the waffles you want.
3 eggs
1/3 tsp soda
400 gr. flour

The dough is thick. Straight very thick, I have nothing to compare with. Maybe like boiled condensed milk, that is, it does not drain from the spoon, to put it in the waffle iron you need to push it with a second spoon.

The waffles turned out to be very tasty, quite crunchy. I didn't bother filling out the form completely, I was satisfied with the curvy round shape of the waffles))

April, Julia, I liked your recipe, I take a note.
Congratulations on the cartoon !!!!!
Elfa
jonny, but I seem to bake thin waffles well, makes sandwiches quickly; but with the fat ones, I really get tired of waiting. I have a small multi-baker, at first I was so glad that there were so many different options in one device; but for thick waffles for several people, well, for a long time; I ended up buying a red Gfgrill waffle iron. Therefore, if only for thick waffles, I would not take a multi-baker.

Elfa,
It may of course depend on the recipe
The day before yesterday I baked according to the recipe from the forum, it seemed like a long time. Today, according to my recipe, they became ruddy much faster. I was doing other things in the kitchen in parallel, as a child.
I concluded that if the family is large, then 700 W will be enough, and if you plan to bake more than one portion of dough at a time, then this is already boring, of course, you need more power.

And yesterday I baked potato pancakes on waffles. Here they really fried for a long time, I will not repeat more such feats.
Wildebeest
April, Julia, you inspired me so much that I went and baked waffles, but changed the recipe beyond recognition:
100 g mayonnaise
100 g yoghurt
125 gr. Sahara
1/2 tsp baking powder
2 pcs. selected eggs
Flour grams 350 was gone, brought to the consistency I needed.
They were baking on Hong Kong waffles, pimples being pinned on children, waffles were being dragged from under their arms.

Wildebeest, Sveta, flour is also 400?

I thought about that too ...
By the way, ladies, take a look at Yulmart. There are some panels (syrniki-triangles, for example) from 630 rubles. As far as I remember, delivery is free.

As far as I know Yulmart closed.

Yes, such a rumor circulated ... But the goods are falling into the basket ... Probably a sale. Cyber sale.
April
The main thing is where to pick it up. Otherwise, the other day I brought there a broken humidifier under warranty, but the store is no longer there. On the "hotline" they say send the device by mail. Yeah.
Lena Sweet Tooth
April, Yes? Then I shake the socket out of the basket. But the truth is, the sign from the shop (I was driving past) disappeared ...
Cirre
Lena Sweet Tooth, Lena, when ordering, do you have an order fulfillment center where you can pick it up or do you order at home?
Lena Sweet Tooth
CirreThank you for your advice, Galya. But I will delay. I have two more panels not legalized ... And they don't have the one that I want (burgers). And while I'm making cheesecakes in fish ...
I do not think that such a distribution center will be retained in our regional center. Most likely in the regional center. And in the former Yulmart shop, Wildberris is already at ease. Competition, however. Natural selection.
By the way, why did I suddenly want a burger panel? And all because engineering thought is in full swing! I think to myself, aren't the burgers-cutlets-cheesecakes too big in it? 9.5 cm in diameter, however. Moreover, in a month of absorbing the results of my labor, I spread out somewhat in breadth and the idea came to halve the portion ... And I thought about dividing the burger groove into two parts, first with a straight strip cut off from the silicone mat, and then decided to complicate the conditions ... Using long strips (goodbye, rug), lay the Yin-Yang inside the burger circle ... How do you like the idea, ladies?
Cirre
I bought this socket before I made it, but it's really not small. And I'm waiting for yin-yang for the socket, although the idea with the separation is cool and black and white cookies

Cirre, yin-yang I also want, along with the tartlets. And Japanese sweets. But for now, silence. I don't even know where to look for information about Redmond's plans to release new panels. If there are any.

Elfa,

What model of gfgrill do you have? looked, they are all red, their waffle irons)))) there is even some kind of multi-oven, but it does not seem to make waffles. how many minutes does your bake thick waffles, and how many does the multibaker? The fat ones are most important to me, my daughter loves them very much!

thank you very much!
Lena Sweet Tooth
Ladies, today I legalized the Dutch Waffles panel. We started with simple bread waffles. Flour-water, oil-baking powder. The first pair is tasteless. Plus salt and black pepper. The second pair is more interesting. Plus 1 egg and finely chopped parsley. Wonderful. While trying - the dough is over. They brought in a new one. Pancake with parsley and pepper. This is the very thing!
From observations. I don't know how this panel behaves with you, but mine bakes in the center with white edges. I had to unfold the waffles.
Crunchiness. Wonderful. I do not know how they would have behaved in the morning. The granddaughters took everything away. But warm crunch fabulous. And so ... transparent ... But ... Bending the tartlets will not work out of them.
The size. Ladies, these are just giant chips. Some of our pages five above have collected from them a honey cake for 4! He's a puppet! : girl-swoon: HOW? My monkeys (grades 1 and 3), by the way, stole a few waffles, blinded them with raspberry jam (don't care that there is salt, pepper and parsley) in a cake and had a doll tea party ...

I continue. And on pancake dough, with thick milk and homemade eggs, baking became faster, more beautiful and already without coups ...

I have a round, overturned, GFGRIL GF 020, on our forum in the Waffle iron section there are several recipes for her by Tanya Makarenko, there are excellent videos, watch it, get a full picture of the capabilities of the waffle iron. I baked sweets, for 4 minutes. Thick, the shape is much more interesting than in a multi-baker. Well, in the multi-baker, honestly, I didn’t time it, I don’t remember, but for sure longer than 4 minutes.

Elfa,

thank you, I understand what you are! But subtle crunchy gfgrill doesn't, does it? only thick?

then the last question) and the volume of the product from one tab ...is he like half a cartoon about? or not ... I still think, maybe a big cartoon, maybe for a long time, but a lot at a time ... or am I thinking wrong?

I mean, let's say a grill makes so many waffles in 4 minutes. A cartoon about twice as many waffles, just 8 minutes. Then it seems, and so on like that ... or does your little red one give out more in size than half of a large mulpera?

(such reflections from a desire sometimes aaaa to make thin ones. But this is not a priority, but just an opportunity, all other things being equal ...) A mulpeaker can also make thin ones, probably there is such a panel for him?
my friend generally told me better to dig and buy a tefal optigril, an awesome grill and waffles are also obtained) But I also want a new dress for the summer, and boots ... not only do I eat all the time, although after its advertisement I already had such an idea allowed but not for long)))))

Accomplishment
jonny, read this thread Thick waffles in the Redmond multi-pot: MP6 vs MP7.

And waffles from different doughs are baked at different speeds. I didn't bake waffles longer than 7 'in MP7, as well as in MP6.

And about MP7 (Redmond Pro) there is a separate topic Redmond Multibaker PRO (7 series).
Alenka212
The multibaker attracts with its versatility. I began to want a mold for nuts, and now I have a bunch of panels And I have never baked nuts yet. The family got hooked on sandwich pies and waffles.

April, yesterday my grandson prayed that I bake him waffles. I baked it almost according to your recipe, but again with changes. The grandson felt the difference.

jonny, I had a waffle iron gfgril -20, changeling. Wafers of the same size with multik6, both in size and thickness, only in gf-ke they are round 4pcs. They bake in the same time, but gf does not have replaceable panels, so I sold it. I like Redik better because of the wide variety of panels. I am waiting for the cartoon on the action to appear in the store. Collected clippings from boxes. I'll send one to the dacha, so as not to carry it back and forth
Lelik_R
Yesterday I tried the stick panel, baked eclairs, stuffed custard cream with caramel (left over from the cake). Colleagues diminished in 5 seconds, they said that everyone needs a kilogram))
Since I made them late at night after work, no decorations, that's why the look is unprepossessing)

Yes, this waffle maker is round red GF, it only makes thick waffles, there are non-removable panels. I cannot compare with a large one, I have a small multi-baker, but it seems to me that one tab from the GFK gives a larger volume of waffles than from a small multi-baker.
And since you also want thin ones, I would buy a small multi-baker, look for discount options so that this experience is not stress for the pocket, and try it, maybe your copy will quickly bake thick waffles, like thin ones. And there you will already understand whether this is your option or not. Because in the multi-baker I really like thin waffles on the panel, where two round ones turn out, they are cool.
