Yesterday, as part of mastering a new oven, I tried to make a shashlik in a jar according to a recipe from our forum - I'll tell you a delicious thing.
I alternated pieces of meat with rings of eggplant and zucchini, the zucchini was peeled, the eggplant with the peel and without any processing, I didn't even add salt, I just cut it into transverse slices 1.5 cm thick. , cooked for 1.5 hours, but the meat turned out to be the most tender, the vegetables are soft, the oven is clean.
I bought a shish kebab ready-made, from pork, from (I forgot which) ... slides, the meat was very decent, without fat and few films, but nothing remained of them in the finished shish kebab. The meat turned out to be unusually tasty, not boiled or fried, with a crust, but soft. Although it has greatly decreased in volume and broth has leaked in the jar on two fingers, the meat has not become dry. Only a large jar does not fit into my micro-oven, I did it in a kopeck piece, and there is enough room for the two of us, but with "extra mouths", you can put a couple of cans at once.
The skewers were made of bamboo sticks, I broke off the extra length, put a small silicone mat from Fixprice under the jar, although it darkened, but it's not scary. The main thing is that the result was very pleasing, although initially there were doubts.

Galina, hurray, I'm glad that the recipe did not disappoint. We also had barbecues yesterday, however, on the street, the weather did not disappoint, but if it rains, then I often cook like that
