here about a similar topic was Tanyula:
Gata, I saw these units much earlier, but of course I also watched the video from Tanyulya. I think that this is not quite the case for summer cottages. Again, depending on how many people live in the country. If you live in splendid isolation, then the unit is quite suitable. Usually, at the dacha, darkness gathers of people OF, family + friends + relatives, then what kind of mini-kitchen is there ... This is a maximum for two, and then ... it will not be enough, however. I consider myself alone (I often stay at home alone), therefore I periodically return to this "saucepan".

Frankly and honestly, fundamental work has been done! Respect!
Only a little confusing 3 points:
1) The ring will scratch the mixer handle and peel off the chrome layer ...
2) Few have handles with a hole in the center.
3) Due to splashes, the sponge will be constantly wet, especially if you hang it on the sink itself. No, well, it's clear that squeezing is not a problem, but we strive for the ideal!

The manufacturing process itself begins with the search for such little things.

And my process and the design itself is much simpler

We need: a regular household hook, a paper clip (which can be easily and quickly unfastened)

Kitchen little things (2) Kitchen little things (2)

Kitchen little things (2)

Or you can use such a travel bag hook. Then you can hang it directly on the crane, or other surfaces, it holds perfectly

====================================

If we talk directly about a metal clothespin, then it can be removed "at one time", even "half time", and there is no problem to remove the clothespin before washing dishes and put it back on when you need to send a sponge for drying.

And then, the clothespin is convenient because it serves for a long time, it can be removed, but the sponge needs to be thrown away after a while. And there is no problem to rinse the hook and the clothespin with an ordinary dishwashing detergent
The whole structure is collapsible, all parts can be stored in a drawer of the table, while the sponge itself is in operation and in contact with the dishes

Do not consider it to be criticism, but "there are women in Russian villages" (at least in our separate apartment) who will not only deal with the horse, but without a shadow of doubt, they will just scratch Teflon in a frying pan with such a metal "clothespin" and the stainless steel will easily be left with traces ...
As a character from Nasha Rashi said: "Something I ..."

By the way, there are towel pegs, they have a loop made of plastic cord, but the latch is metal.
They are, of course, less traumatic ...
At first I even tried to figure out how to adapt all this, but then I realized the futility of a flight of fantasy!

Sorry, did not understand how this can be done in this situation?

I seem to be not an enemy to my kitchen trifles and appliances, and I give myself an idea of what can happen in the end, and how to make it more practical for the house, and first of all for myself. And I am not accustomed to long communication on the forum, to give advice if it does not work out for me myself or my experiments will damage the instruments and dishes for me personally in the first place

That's it - to shoot! Because anyway, any paper clip (even a safe one) will interfere with washing dishes... The paper clips can be large and small in size, but it does not matter, since it must be removed before working with ANY DISHES and DEVICES, which guarantees both ease of use and the safety of the dishes.

Yes - so I already answered above: before washing the dishes, remove the sponge from the clothespin so that it does not interfere and scrub the dishes.
After work, as a rule, this is already when all the things are redone in the kitchen, we wash and wash the sponge, put a clothespin on it, and put it on a hook, then in a convenient place on the sink, faucet, and so on - and go watch the TV set

I won't even try !!! A million reasons!
It turns out that we also have a crane of a different system, from above it is not flat, but round; also curved, not straight!
You can't fit a hook there! Only on glue or tape - which is not very kosher ...
And for sure EVEN I will not take off, put on a clothespin!
Otherwise it will turn out like Chekhov's in "The Chameleon": take off your overcoat - put on your overcoat!
I want to do everything with one light movement of the hand pants turn!
By the way, when I wash the dishes, depending on their quantity and type, 5-10 times I put a sponge on the side fender of the sink in order to take something.Well, if you multiply these fractions of a second by the number of repetitions, by times of washing dishes, then for all days of the year, it turns out that more than one languid evening will be spent on a clothespin ...

5-10 times I put a sponge on the side wing of the sink to take something

For this purpose, I do not have the edge of the sink, but there is such a stand, where the sponge is placed during work. Double capacity: for a bottle for washing dishes and for a wet sponge - very convenient, nothing drips or drips anywhere

Kitchen little things (2)

I will say even more, I even put a sponge (without a clothespin) on this bowl-stand after work, after washing and squeezing it out - the sponge dries up perfectly, because it lies on the container and does not touch the bottom of the container and does not get wet.

In general, disputes and comments are absolutely useless, since each of us will do as it suits him

Here are the golden words!
Because in place of the bowl stand we have a mixer tap control knob!
And further point by point: along the crane there is no such wide area (we have stainless steel).

But here's what intrigued me - the brush is visible on the left and it also lies (is it?) On some kind of device!
Can you give more details? Very interesting!

There are also plastic clothespins on a long plastic loop - I really liked using them. Convenient to cling, holds well, made soundly. If desired, you can attach it to the tap handle, or simply put a loop on a standard bottle of dish soap and the clothespin will hang in the corner of the sink. For this purpose it is of course better to use a full bottle, for stability.

Alevtina, thanks for the edge soldering idea. I also really love these sponges for their versatility and also began to gut them, but I use them without processing the edges .. in principle, in this case, too, it lasts for a very long time, but with sealed edges it is undoubtedly much more convenient and aesthetically pleasing!
Admin
Igor, no need to direct criticism to my taps, you can always find adaptations and a place to hang them, I only offer to adapt what I have personally, I find a solution in my kitchen. And it is quite natural that you have different conditions, which means that the adaptation will be different and will be fixed differently.

All my accessories are stored on a shelf, on the inside of the door, and I put them on the sink only when I take it off and work. Then they need to be washed, dried, and put back on the shelf on the door. I hate it when the sink is filled with various tools, sponges, bottles, rags. At the sink, I always have only a bottle of dishwashing liquid and a sponge, which I use constantly and in demand.

On the left, I have a regular soap dish in temporary storage (so that water does not run off the edges of the sink) and on it a washing brush with long bristles. It is good for cleaning, for example, a grinder grill, a sieve where you need to penetrate the holes.

The brushes, sponges and detergents at the sink infuriate me. And towels, hooks, rails ...
I want to clean everything, but it turns out either not convenient (on the other hand, bending over to the floor for a piece of soap will do it as a warm-up, which is not bad for sedentary work), or there is little ventilation, which is already bad ... I did not find an ideal. Above the sink, there is a hanger for cups where I hang everything from brushes to dishes to dry. But there is nothing more permanent than temporary, it can "dry" for days.

Here I also have a built-in dispenser for fairies, and under the sink is a sliding metal three-story corner basket on rails for all the detergents. No brushes, no rags, no sponges in sight. Once I bought a hinged holder for the separator between the sinks, but it also did not take root.

In continuation of the theme for the case when the mixer handle is one-piece, there is no hole and therefore there is no possibility of hanging onto the mixer either. In this case, you can take a closer look at the drain hole device.

I have a drain hole for overflow.

We take a key chain with two carabiners at the ends, bought at a kiosk soyuzprint, and assemble a simple hanging system with a trouser hook.

Kitchen little things (2)

Hanging on the sink overflow

Kitchen little things (2)

I have a stainless sink, but various magnets are magnetised to it.

Kitchen little things (2)

A trouser hook is perfectly attracted to the magnet. But you can glue a hook to the magnet.

Kitchen little things (2)

The hook itself stuck to another magnet.

Kitchen little things (2)

But the best and most practical solution is the following. Let's look again at the overflow hole, the overflow system is fixed to it with a bolt. Bolt!

Kitchen little things (2)

And now we carefully look at the geometry of the perforation on the trouser hook itself, so it is ideal for passing the tightening bolt through the semicircular hole in the upper part of the hook. Yes, the safest and best way to secure the sponge hook is to simultaneously attach the hook between the sink wall and the head of the tightening bolt when installing the sink in the countertop.

Kitchen little things (2)

There is only one little thing left - to persuade the husband to remove the sink, disconnect all the hoses, attach a hook with it and reinstall it in the countertop. Or invite a plumber. And all for the sponge hook.

Larochka, and you can read more here and with a photo! Please, I have finally figured out the dispenser. Now I really want to deal with a sponge and a metal "float". All these adaptations "fasten one to the other, the other to the third" do not suit me categorically, because.firstly, this will not add aesthetics, and secondly, I can and will fasten / unfasten, but two of my Neanderthals - definitely not! Hello everyone. I read and looked through the whole epic with dishwashing sponges. What ideas, what embodiment. One word - well done!
I went the simplest way. But the choice was not easy because all sorts of soap trays and other adaptations in the shops are darkness. And I needed either a strawberry or a red apple, well, a green-red watermelon! And I found (!) A tomato!
Kitchen little things (2) Kitchen little things (2)

Now I'll tell you why my tomato is so good. 1 - handsome! 2 - no hooks for drying the sponge. And third, and most importantly, the convenience of the configuration of the bottom inside the tomato. I don't know if it is possible to see this in the photo, but the bottom is made a little convex, and when I put the squeezed washcloth inside, it lies in the center, and the rest of the water has the ability to drain off the groove around the circumference. The sponge is dry, and sometimes wiping a few drops inside is not a problem, but more often the moisture simply evaporates itself. But there is one more big plus - putting a washcloth in this tomato and turning it "face", no washcloth is visible, and the sink is simply decorated with a beautiful bright tomato. And the bottle of detergent can be removed under the sink, it does not bother me at all.

Well, why spoil the countertop (besides being far from the sink and uncomfortable)? And if it is also made of stone, then the result is identical! I found a suitable one and screwed it into the countertop perfectly! In the corners of all overhead sinks there is a place for such a place.

IrKa, do not argue (!) DIES! It stands in the open state, well, so that there are no unpleasant odors, I throw it in the micra for a couple of minutes 2-3 times a week, take it out in its purest state with a pleasant smell from the detergent
Kara
Not a fig at me dries Even drainage soap dishes bought. The result is the same. We can have normal families (where boys are not such gouges) and dries right on the table. Mine, these same ones, do not squeeze the sponge at all, "threw it as it is," so a drainage system is needed that can drain all the water that remains in the sponge without drowning it.
