Sekerpare cookies

Ingredients

butter 125 g
vegetable oil 5 tbsp. l
egg 2 pcs
powdered sugar 3 tbsp. l
baking powder 1 tsp
salt pinch
flour 2.5-3 st
almonds or hazelnuts 15-20 pcs
Syrup:
sugar 3 st
water 4 st
lemon 1 / 4-1 / 2 pcs

Cooking method

  • Sekerpare cookiesAdd sugar to water and bring to a boil over medium heat. Cook for another 20 minutes.
  • Sekerpare cookiesSqueeze the juice from the lemon. If the lemon is small, use half.
  • Sekerpare cookiesA minute before the end of cooking, pour lemon juice into the syrup. Stir and cool until warm.

  • Sekerpare cookiesSift flour into a bowl and grind it well with butter into small crumbs.

Zhannptica, JeanneI used 2.5 tbsp that was enough. Actually, the cookies are not small. The syrup is absorbed into the cookies and about a layer of 0.5 cm remains at the bottom.I have them in syrup overnight (not all true, because I could not resist and just dipped the first three in syrup and ate)
