Victoria, in my opinion, this should not be so, especially since this was not the case from the beginning of use, I would contact the service department.

ZhizhkunVika, Victoria, crackling, crunching should not be. We turned the lever, the head lowers smoothly, quietly and easily, we lightly press down the head with our hand, click and the head is lowered. You have KM under warranty, please contact the service. Good luck to you!

But such ads on Avito are not a dime a dozen

I live in Tambov in my DR on June 22 and my husband offered to choose a gift. The mixer is my dream. I have never bought anything on AVITO, I am reading this topic and I really liked the atmosphere and I decided to ask your advice. I think it's better to buy in the store.

Thank you all, I will read the topic, study it and will be very grateful for the advice.
LydiaVera
Bliznetsova, I periodically buy on Avito. I bought quite expensive equipment, I bought attachments for Kenwood, and much more. Every time I try to read reviews about the seller, somehow get to know him by correspondence. And still, it's like a lottery often. But it is one thing to lose 1-3-5 thousand, although for me this is a lot of money. And the other is seventy thousand. It's up to you, of course. You asked for advice, each of us helped as best we could. Happy shopping! I don’t congratulate you on your birthday, you cannot in advance)

Thank you. I need to study, read topics without emotion. They gave me Vicki's bodies. At the first moment, I was so happy that I was ready to transfer money today.

Finally my new 9060 has arrived! The third day I am not overjoyed at him. Compared to 63, it looks more solid and higher. For those who have not yet decided on the model, I advise you to take induction! The idea of buying 63 arose after a friend invited him to dinner at her home. After tasting her bread, squash salad and bolognese sauce, I decided that I also needed such a miracle (My friend has a thermomix), I started to study the market and it turned out that there are 1000 or more models and options. My choice fell on 6320 pasta and dumplings, my own bread, buns, I bought a meat grinder to the heap and thought that all this would cover my needs. For the time being it was so, but I wanted more and after 7 !! months the question arose about buying a new car. This is not just "another function - induction" but a whole new 10 steps to the discovery of new possibilities in cooking. I'm just sure if you have a desire for growth, induction installments are better than anything else. I have outgrown my Ken and 6320 will go to to the devil mom.
By the way, having tried to chop cabbage on a julienne disk in a food processor, I decided that it was still worth thinking with my head.

kuzashka! Sorry, I don't know your name. In the topic dough mixing machines, you asked a question about the Prospero 242 and 287 machine, it seems, and said that you could not ask a question about the compatibility of these machines with the attachments of other machines. And then they explained that your daughter wants to buy a similar car.
Since I recently finished reading these topics for the second time on Kenwood, I remember a little something.
Firstly, from the very beginning of these topics, the bulk of the luminaries of the forum very, very much advises against buying these machines. Due to their weak power, due to the fact that they are directly shaken on the table when you start using them, due to the fact that there are almost no attachments for them, including flexi attachments and from any other machines attachments to do not fit them. I may be wrong in some ways, but on the whole I convey everything correctly. It is advised that if you cannot spend more money on such a device, then it is better to pay attention to a car of another brand, not Kenwood.
But we have (or were at least) owners of such cars. In particular, there is our forum member VolzhankaD. She has or used to have Prospero 242. She was quite happy with it. Write to her in a personal, ask everything in more detail. She is still on the forum, she will probably answer you. About the links. In 15 minutes I found more or less worthwhile two, although if you look longer, there are certainly more of them. Read at least these pages, there are answers, including those from VolzhankaD, Just short.

kuzashka
Elena, thank you very much. This is a revelation for me (although today I also got extremely negative reviews on reviewers). I believed that Kenwoods are more powerful, more tenacious than Boshi (the rest is either too expensive, or there is a prejudice. For example, we did not have love with Mulinex and the like). I went to read some more

kuzashka, Natalia! Very nice! Write your name on your profile. I started looking for information like this: I found Kenwood kitchen machines in the topic, went into it. Right in this thread, in the search engine, I typed Kenwood Prospero 242 Kitchen Machine and attachments to it. I pressed the search button and got a series of answers. You can do the same in the Kenwood Kitchen Machines theme, working with attachments. Surely there are more answers. But after even the answers I read, I would definitely not take it. It's better to buy some noname for the five. This is just my opinion. And still look at Avito. Not all of them are swindlers. If you take with Avito delivery, avoiding other offers from the seller to communicate besides Avito, then you can buy a very good Kenwood inexpensively, for example. And it turns out that you can run into scammers among people you know.
So go for it! And good luck to you!

I want to share my history of acquiring and owning KM 9040. I bought it in January 2019 by installments through Tinkoff Bank. The loan application was completed instantly, all remotely, without leaving the computer (maybe, of course, this was facilitated by the fact that I am a client of this bank, I don't know). I took on credit, like most, to save money. If someone follows the same path, please note that interest is charged for each day of using the loan, so at the time of early repayment, check with the bank employee how much you need to pay. And yet, before buying, immediately clarify whether you will be provided with a receipt, at least in a scan. For what it may be needed I will write below.
Together with the combine, he took a dough roller and a processor for the promotion, and according to the promotional code, the scales and an apron. I additionally ordered a soufflake, and bought a sieve and an additional plastic bowl for Avito.
Last summer I bought a blender, a cube cutter, a high-speed vegetable cutter and cups from the attachments.
In short, on the nozzles, then they completely suit me. The intersecting ones are the processor and the vegetable cutter. When cooking in small volumes, if you need to crumble cookies, nuts, whip up cottage cheese with sour cream and gelatin (THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THIS RECIPE) or make a "21 sec dough", then you just can't do without a processor. But if you cut cabbage for pickling or if you make preparations for the winter, then you cannot do without a vegetable cutter. You are tortured with the processor and, most likely, you will not keep track of when its bowl overflows and the lid simply bends, which happened to me when I shredded 2 large forks of cabbage for the first time. If you do both, you will have to take both attachments.
The cube cutter is also perfect for blanks for the winter, including overtaking buckets of apples for jam.
I thought for a long time whether I needed a blender, since there was already a blender from a Panasonic juicer for a long time, as well as a madzhekbullit. As a result, I liked the blender very much, one of the advantages is that it is collapsible, therefore easy to clean, including in a p / m; more in volume (very important when preparing sauces for preservation), and in addition, there is a stick with which you can throw off the food if they stick to the walls (it helps when preparing a mixture for marshmallows). As a result, the madzhekbullit was given to the parents, the blender from Panasonic was left in the closet.
Of the minuses on the nozzles, these are two cups that leak. That is, only dry mixtures can be made in them. The other two cups do not have this problem.
Unfortunately, the Achilles heel of the Kenwoods did not pass me by, the gearbox dripped in the fall.At first, little by little, and later, when working at high speeds, the oil simply scattered over the bowl. Preliminarily clarified what documents are required for the repair. SC requested a warranty card and a receipt. I did not have any of these documents. By that time, I had not yet issued the Iron Guarantee certificate, because I simply did not know about it, although the managers could have said about it when placing an order. I had to contact the seller (at that time LLC "Colors"), they promptly provided me with a scan of the receipt and warranty card.
In November, the combine was handed over for repairs, in December it was received after replacing the gearbox. After the repair, nozzles (K-shaped, whisk, etc.) began to pop out very easily from the main socket, so much so that when the "head" was raised, they could simply fall into the bowl. If anyone has to change the gearbox (i.e., so that they do not encounter this), pay attention to this when receiving the car in the SC. Apparently, they messed up somewhere. Otherwise, everything was flawless, except that the report on the repair was not given to me, but this is also my oversight.
In winter, I bought a press for berries at Avito, for only 3 tons, my condition was good. The hostess sold it because at her food processor 3 times !!! under warranty, the gearbox was changed and in the end she just handed it over to the store.
The berry press was used only for squeezing pomegranates (in principle, it was taken for them). The result is very good, from 588 gr. grains turned out to be 100 gr. good, dry cake and 488 gr. juice. Squeezes quickly enough and most importantly quietly. The same Panasonic has such a crack that it becomes scary behind the sieve.
After replacing the gearbox and communicating with the press seller, I began to carefully wipe the slot with a paper towel every time, from where oil could flow again. It did not take long to wait, and already in March of this year, the replaced gearbox also leaked. As well as the first time, first small droplets, then increasing.
Since this development of events did not suit me, I decided to demand the replacement of the kitchen machine. Due to the coronavirus, the call to the SC for diagnostics had to be postponed until June, all this time the combine was operated in the most gentle mode. In June, I began to collect documents for delivery to the SC and only then discovered that I did not have an act of initial repair, and without it it would be problematic to count on an exchange. Therefore, I decided to contact the same SC again, the history of requests should have been stored, but then they shocked me that orders were not accepted, because they were closing (the coronavirus did not pass without a trace). They had to somehow manage to get a duplicate of the act, but then they told me on the phone that they would not be able to do this, since they did not have the act itself. As a result, after several persistent calls, including the head of the SC, we managed to knock out a document confirming the replacement of the gearbox. They gave it, one might say, gritting their teeth, but it is understandable, it was not up to my problems.
The second SC also demanded a warranty card, a check and an "Iron Guarantee" certificate (I had the documents, including the warranty certificate, which I had managed to issue by that time, all thanks to this forum). 10 days after delivery, I called the SC to find out what decision had been made. The SC confirmed that the gearbox is again subject to replacement under warranty, but Kenwood refused to replace the combine itself, since the product is a technically complex product. I must say that this is true, according to the Consumer Protection Law, food processors are technically complex products. But, in addition, the ZoZPP contains a list in which cases the buyer has the right to demand replacement of the goods.
I refused the proposed repair and asked for an act of troubleshooting in order to communicate directly with Kenwood in the future and began to mentally prepare for the fight)). Unexpectedly for me, on July 15, they called from Delonga and informed me that a decision had been made to replace the combine.
Apparently, the initial refusal to replace the combine is a ruse on the part of Kenwood's dealership. Maybe most of the buyers agree to the repair and do not insist on replacing the combine. But that's my personal opinion.
The replacement itself took place in a somewhat perverted form, at first I had to hand over all the accessories from the combine to the SC, get my hands on an act of non-repairability, then send a scan of the act to the mail, fill out an application, then send scans of the act, an application and a check by email. mail, and originals by mail to Moscow. After that, they returned me a d / s in the amount of the purchase on the card, I made a new application on the Kenwood website, I was charged the amount at the current price, and after contacting the hotline they reduced it to the old one - 69,990 rubles. I received the new harvester on 08/07/2020, before receiving it I took a short break to decide whether to pre-order a harvester from the new series. But after watching demos, it makes sense to pay extra 20 tr. and I did not see to wait 2 months.
By the way, I asked for a discount on some of the attachments, in the form of compensation for costs, since the car had been in the SC for more than 2 months for 1.5 years of ownership, but this was refused.
As a result, I can say that despite all the breakdowns, I am satisfied with the combine itself; on the part of Kenwood, except for the initial refusal and this strange exchange procedure, everything was organized quite well.
In the future, I want to take a screw squeezer from the nozzles and someday a spilizer and a slicer.

Trik, Konstantin, straight epic turned out! It's good that everything is over. Let the new machine please!
Thanks for sharing, I personally did not know about Kenwood's weak point
zvezda
Konstantin, you have a straight detective with Kesha .. maybe someone wrote about the gearbox, but I don’t remember, but it doesn’t matter .. I have my first 020 machine for 9 years, plows every day .. and 9060 is almost 3 years old, and previous - 096 at the production of a confectionery she is already almost 5 ... there were no TTT problems at all .. well, as they say, and there is a hole in the old woman ..

Kenwood's weak point
I read about the gearbox even before buying that there is a problem with them, and it seems that Pavel once wrote here, and, if I'm not mistaken, that induction gearboxes should be more reliable.
The problem with the gearboxes was confirmed by the master from the SC

Trik, yes, Constantine. It was Pavel who wrote about gearboxes. In his second car, he changed the gearbox once for sure during the warranty period, and the second time, in my opinion, too. And someone else changed it, one person like from the forum (at least from those who reported here).
In general, it's great after all that you have achieved a car exchange! I wish you health to this brand new typewriter and subsequent saved nerve cells! And with the new car, everything is still not clear. It is clear only one thing that unnecessary bells and whistles very often lead to breakdowns. And the scales. At least on the head, at least on the bottom of a machine with induction, according to members of the forum who understand something in the technical part, it has long been predicted as inaccurate weight measurements at least. Whoever reads the topics carefully, he remembers all this.
Irina F
Eh, guys! You bring confusion to my rebellious soul!)))))
I don't like these guaranteed predicted breakdowns (
If more than one person speaks about the gearbox, then you should think about it!
I didn’t react to the reviews when I bought myself a car, I decided, well, the variator is malfunctioning, the car is cool, business class, everything will be ok!
And when she passed the warranty period and the problems began, that once I already remembered these reviews!

more than one person speaks about the gearbox,
Ira, not about the gearbox !! Pavel's motor was also repaired on Sense, not on Cooking !! On the contrary, he writes that the reducer is eternal!
He compared Kitchener and Kenwood (Cooking) to those. specifications, so Kenwood is better!

Do you want to write off with Sveta, she's been using it every day for the third year already .. she has a cafe and she beats marshmallows on it, she also participates in marathons and does it to order ..
LydiaVera
Well, definitely not eternal. Maybe in your case - more reliable, since the car is an earlier release. And now they began to juggle, probably. Gearboxes on new cars fly, this is far from an isolated case. Which cost me a lot of nerves personally. Yes, and spent money, despite the free repairs. If the warranty is out, the gearbox costs 14 thousand, plus the repair is something from one and a half to two.
zvezda
LydiaVera, I also have a new one .. (Kesha) ..
LydiaVera
Olya, let both serve for a long time. But you still need to be objective. The car is great, but if we talk about it, then comprehensively - both the pros and cons. We talk a lot about the pros, but we are modestly silent about the problems.
