Another point, if, as stated in the original recipe, add a tablespoon of garlic, the bread will acquire a distinct garlic taste and a distinct garlic smell. Moreover, explicit - that's putting it mildly.
The amount of fat also affects the rise of the dough, and a tablespoon of garlic is, of course, extreme !!! I add a pinch of dried garlic - that's enough for a light aroma.

I was somehow skeptical about this recipe (it is also given in the instructions for my HP). And yesterday I put such bread for the night. I didn't have time to photograph the bread)
I did not change the recipe, with one small exception: all 400g. flour - ordinary wheat. From the "fillers" I added finely chopped Jewish sausage, Maasdam cheese (also diced) and 1 clove of garlic (finely chopped). I put all this in a dispenser, it turned out to be a full dispenser, there is more cheese than sausages. Baked in Basic mode with raisins; medium crust, smallest size. I put on the timer in the evening so that it was ready by the morning.
The cheese, by the way, remained in cubes, did not melt. Several cubes stuck to the roof of the bread (apparently, not everything spilled out of the dispenser at once) and did not melt. The husband suggested that the cheese had dried up and because of this it retained its shape; after all, he was in the dispenser for several hours.
I will definitely bake some more!

I also baked this bread yesterday. Instead of water, I gave whey from cottage cheese. Everything worked out great. Only next time I will add more cheese (or just cheese, no sausage), and take another sausage. This one had a very pungent smell in the bread for me. But she had breakfast with bread and butter and fresh tomatoes. Delicious. The bread is like a sausage bun.
