I stumbled upon this recipe, having "tomorrow is New Year, and there is a duck in the freezer." Parboiled Indian Rice. Quince. Instead of an oven, I decided to use a multicooker. From dried fruits at home only raisins, so I decided to do without them. \
So, she turned the defrosted duck into pieces, generously smeared with honey. On the bottom of the multi bowl, I laid out quince slices in two rows. On them I poured UNBOILED rice. A sprig of rosemary and a sprig of thyme. I hoisted pieces of duck on top and realized that I forgot to add salt, so I generously poured soy sauce. I poured water into the bowl (I did not measure it, but it was exactly the level of the rice lying down. The master chef set the temperature to 160 degrees and set it for 2 hours. At the end of the cartoon, I went into the mode of keeping warm, remembered about it after a couple of hours. Duck - the meat is separated from the bone, the fat soaked the rice and it did not disintegrate, retained its shape.

The daughter said - masterpiece))) The duck turned out to be soft, I liked it too. My girls, leaving alone their favorite New Year's salads, also leaned against the duck.
