Ice cake Napoleon

Ingredients

vanilla ice cream 120-150 g
Plums in wine jelly
For cakes
Thin pita leaf 1 PC.
Vegetable oil or butter for lubrication
Ground cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg taste
For custard you will need 6 tbsp. l.
Milk 250 ml
Egg 1 PC.
Starch 1 tbsp. l.
Sugar 1 tbsp. l.

Cooking method

  • Having thanked the Americans for the idea of the sandy, I decided to play not only with the components, but also with the shape.
  • After playing with the form, I had to play with the name. The choice was between "ice cream cake" and "ice cream cake", and the result was "ice cake". Not in Russian, but short and clear.
  • So, Ice cake Napoleon
  • For cakes. Cut the lavash into rectangles, choosing a size convenient for you. I got about 7x10. Using a brush, lightly grease the pieces with oil, sprinkle with spices and bake until a pleasant ruddy and crunchy. I baked in the microwave in the microwave + grill mode. It took me 2.5 minutes. Reduce the time if the grill is already hot. (When determining the time, rely on the knowledge of your stove and control the process visually so that the cakes do not burn).
  • Spread the finished cakes on a flat surface so that they do not deform or crumble.
  • Ice cake Napoleon
  • Then you need to cook custard and cool it well. Since childhood, I have been making cream using the same method that I described
  • Cake number 3. For 2 servings we need 6 tbsp. l.
  • Plums in wine jelly available in my closet.
  • To serve take big plates. Put the halves of the plums on them, pour the syrup. Put 3 tablespoons of cream on top, on it a block of ice cream. We make parallel cuts across the bar, into which we insert our cakes. Place a stack of the remaining biscuits nearby.
  • Ice cake Napoleon

The dish is designed for

For two servings

Note

Why Napoleon? At first I wanted to call it Millefeuil in French. Agree, it looks like a shape! But ... a patriotic inner voice reminded me that in Russia such a cake after the victory in the Patriotic War of 1812 began to be called "Napoleon." Further, the logic is clear.
Now recommendations. After the "fight", so to speak.
1. Make more cakes. At least twice as much as you think is sufficient. Because otherwise they won't be enough for Napoleon himself.
2. You don't need to drain a lot, 3 pieces are enough for decoration. And do not spare the syrup, let everything float in it - it's cool.
3. Instead of canned compote, you can make your own fruit and berry sauce by heating them in a pan and thickening them with starch.
4. You can build a pyramid according to the multi-temperature principle. Hot syrup, lukewarm cream and cold ice cream. And the disarming fragility of the cakes will crown the structure.
5. You need to eat dessert, raking in biscuits, but due to their fragility, you will have to help yourself with a spoon. Well, what the spoon can't handle can be licked off the plate with your tongue. If, of course, education allows.

Premier, Olya! Super! I took it to the bookmarks before collecting the plums ... and there will probably be a lot of them this year (mmm). It's so easy for grandchildren to eat plums, but they will definitely be in this form, only they will have to be made simply in jelly (children's version)! Well, pamper yourself. Thank you!

Well yes! True, in the absence of pita bread, you can simply bake puff pastry in squares ... and there will be a Napoleon-Napoleonische Ice-cake!

Girls, this is a wonderful application for pita bread! Try it. Chips are simply excellent - you can sprinkle with anything: sugar, salt, pepper, herbs.
And it crunches how! Six seconds and no chemistry.
Can be baked in the oven.
And cut out any figures, just with scissors, like out of paper.

And you know, such a good "Napoleon" turned out.
Light in taste, in calories and in labor.
Only low - the layers are thin. (There are 14 layers here).
