Girls, I read you a lot and bought myself a Travola dryer and ... Something else (a steam generator ... like its whale ... 903), I didn't have time to try it, and went to the country house. I grabbed the dryer at Ozone at a discount, the courier said that in a week and a half only he delivered 4 pieces ... I have been sitting in your recipes for a long time, only recently registered. Thank you girls for the useful information!

Parshina, Svetlana, oh, let's go here: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=928.0 I am very interested in your impressions of Kitfort. I bought one - I had to return it. I would like to talk with other owners of KITik)))

Dried pears, cut into quarters. I cleaned the skin. The taste is so interesting, like a dried banana.

Natalishka, the temperature in the dryer was not measured?

I cannot advise yet. I'm a newbie. The only thing, yesterday I checked the temperature with a thermometer. I put it on max 70g. So at the bottom and top near the door was 62g. Maybe closer to the fan, ie at the end and more: pard: It is necessary and minimum. check temperature. But now it won't work. The thermometer is

Yes, I looked at the dimensions of the dryer, I have no place to put it

Natalia, I have a permanent pantry place * JOKINGLY * And now it is on my narrow bedside table on wheels in the kitchen .. I move it there. But from October I'll put it back in the closet.
natushka
Natalia, my pantry is already packed, and if you put it in the kitchen, you will have to jump over it, only in the middle of the "living room you can"
Natalishka
You can also in the living room, if you really want to

not very much, I will have to use my Elrona "The Secret of the Mistress", stands on a stool, I move it back and forth, then in the middle of the bedroom, then by the bed, then somewhere else
YuliaR
Good day!
Today she became the owner of this dryer, and since she is a completely newbie in drying, a little discouraged by the lack of at least some information in the instructions about the drying time of certain vegetables and fruits and the maximum load of pallets ((
I honestly did not master all 48 pages), can you tell me where you can see such plates? And then there are apples, tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, but how to cut? How much to put and how to dry I don’t know)

We use info from our section https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&board=164.0
And our recipes from the forum https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&board=174.0

And everything will definitely work out

Tatiana, thank you very much!
And then the son is small and there is little time to read 49 pages)) but I want to start drying right now)))
I went to teach materiel)

Girls, we bought Travola. Have questions, help me figure it out.
1. The instructions say - On. plug into the socket - beep - on the screen the default time and temperature will be displayed and when the instrument is in standby mode, the dots between the numbers do not flash. After a beep, nothing is displayed on the screen, and only after pressing the ON button, it shows 10:00 (dots are blinking) and the dryer starts to work.
2. I put the grated carrots to dry on 5 trays, temperature 70, set the time to 5h30 min (while I am at home), put a ham-maker thermometer in the dryer - the thermometer scale is at the door, the tip is directed towards the fan. 2.5 hours have passed, the temperature on the thermometer does not rise above 42 degrees.
I read all the instructions, there is nothing about faults. How it works for you, please tell me.
repetu
My Travola. I don't remember about the buttons now.
But I also checked my temperature. It was just perfect. If 60 degrees is set, then it keeps exactly 60 degrees at the door for 2-3 minutes. then it gradually drops by 2-3 degrees and then again picks up the specified temperature again.
Katris
Natalia, everything is fine with the buttons, this is how they work) But I did not measure the temperature, in the next. just remember to measure.

Girls, tell me, do you leave the grass on when leaving the house? It's just that I walk twice a day for 2 hours with the child, and usually I don't leave household appliances turned off. But then how to dry?))

That's right, household appliances cannot be left on. Just turn off the dryer and open the door. Then dry it.

So underdried will not be worn out. Sometimes it happens that I do not finish dry something a little. I'll turn it off at night, open the door, and in the morning everything is dry.

If the dryer works well, nothing bad will happen if you leave it on for a while. Does the dryer run as usual at night?

If unfinished fruits are left in the switched off dryer, they absorb moisture from the air, and since there is no inflow of warm air, the color and quality of drying may change, the fruit changes color to gray. Especially when in autumn, when the air is already cold, with fog ...

If in the city, then it's not scary, we have no fog in the house. And I turn it off at night because it’s standing in the room where I sleep, it still interferes with sleep.

And I got up in the morning, so nothing could be seen outside the window, everything was white-white from the fog. I have a dryer on the balcony, the window is only a little ajar, but this is enough for the drying to be saturated with dampness
I was lucky - my orsyusha is not heard at all during work

Yes, it all depends on where the dryer lives. Travolka works quietly, only I like silence at all at night
Natalishka
The noise doesn't bother me, but the smell

Natushka, Natalya, maybe you messed up with the temperature? Try to switch the temperature button. When I stand at 70, when I open the door, the heat is in my face. But not immediately, of course.

Yes, if onions, for example, are dried and apples, marshmallow is even pleasant.
Natalishka
Natalia, nice, but interferes with sleep
Irgata
and I try to dry it now, until the heating was given, it turns out there is a double benefit and pleasure, the dryer, if it’s overnight, is in the kitchen - it doesn’t interfere at all, but onions smell like - we like it, weak

Yes, it's just some kind of problem of mine.Because how to check whether it works well or not? It happens that the light is turned off for several minutes, no one knows why.
At night, everyone is at home)
Although this problem bothers me)) loss of 4 hours in drying)) this is damn almost half of the process

At home, yes. But at night you may not hear power outages, as a rule it happens. But you are not afraid to leave the dryer on at night.
And dryers are designed for long-term operation and drying - otherwise what's the point of drying and then spoiling the product by temporary shutdown

Natalishka, no, I didn't mess it up, I measured it with two thermometers - electronic and from a ham, the temperature is the same on both - 45-47 degrees, no heat, I can calmly keep my hand on the fan mesh, although my hands are very sensitive to hot (usually I even use two oven mitts). I switched the temperature button, when setting 45 degrees - almost like the temperature of a hand, almost not felt, and 70 is definitely not in sight, I don't know what to do, it works, just does not suit how

I read somewhere (maybe on our forum) that a break in the drying process, but I don't remember at what stage, contributes to the fastest drying, I myself do not leave the dryer turned on if I need to leave the house and noticed that after switching it on it dries faster, but it dried mostly tomatoes and soup, therefore nothing happened to the color of vegetables, but the meat must be dried without interruption - this is my opinion, prompted by intuition

I wrote this way in some recipe for a long time. But it all depends on the fruits and vegetables themselves, the degree of their readiness, and the need for this method

Admin,

Girls, I have miracles with Travola, it began to warm up, though from the outside it is hotter, especially the back wall and top, it is not so hot inside. Maybe because the products are no longer so wet, I want to find a mercury or at least an alcohol thermometer of 100 degrees, try measuring, otherwise meat thermometers are not suitable in this case.
Still, did anyone buy additional nets? Please post a link, preferably in Russia, I can't order from abroad. It's easier with silicone mats, but dries much worse on them. I found where they sell silicone rugs (as girls order from Germany in a joint venture) for 115 rubles, but there you have to order goods for 3000 rubles
Natalishka
Natalia, oh, it's good that everything is fine: girl_claping: I make marshmallows for tefln. rugs. I also bought nets for drying little things. Very comfortably. All from Ozone.

natushka
Natalishka, thanks for the links, and the mesh has holes of what size, it seems to me a bit big, I would like 2x2 or 3x3 no more, I also measured the pallet - 27.5x30.5, and the mesh 27x .. only, I think the grass will crumble

I dry small things on ironing nets, they are of different sizes, I bought mine in permanent sale store on the stock, large, cut in half. it is very convenient not only to dry small things, but something sticky, a plum, for example, tomatoes, then it is easy to remove, I spied on how calmly everything is removed from the nets Electric dryer cabinet Travola KYS-333B and they are a mere trifle

Irsha, we do not have such a store, I will try to search for grids through a search engine, thanks!

natushkawhat grass? if cut dill, then I dry on Teflon. rugs. Dries quickly. Holes somewhere 3-4mm. I like them for their toughness. They can be removed along with the berries (from a baking sheet) without a baking sheet and poured into a jar. Sometimes, for example, I have very sweet pears, they stick to the baking sheet and then I have to peel them off. I put this net and on it a bed of pears, plums, cherries. I'd rather wash this grid, and save the baking sheet (still plastic, where can I get it?).

Girls, and I use nets from plastic windows (from mosquitoes). Just great. Even all kinds of dry grass. I'll give you little holes like that. Easy to clean and easy to remove. They are tough, the edge does not frizz, and can be cut to any size

Girls, you just always need to know about the safety of these nets (window, for ironing, washing, etc.), and it is advisable to see the safety certificate of these products, what material they are made of, whether they can be used for food and beverage purposes.
Indeed, when these materials are heated, it is possible to release harmful vapors and substances for the human body, which will go to food
