Tortillas with feta cheese, herbs, bell pepper and garlic (Midea grill)

Ingredients

Bryndza with herbs or simple 500 g
Egg 1 PC
Kefir 2 cups
Greens (I have cilantro) 1 bunch
Bell pepper red 1 PC
Garlic 1 clove
Vegetable oil 70 g
Flour 1.5 cups
Soda 0.5 h l

Cooking method

  • I want to admit: I am a feta cheese and greens maniac. I don't feel well if there is no stock of these things in the refrigerator. As a result, the stock can be large and must be disposed of. Here's what I experimented with.
  • Grate cheese. I had cheese with greens. You can take simple cheese and add greens separately. I used a Philips electric grinder, julienne attachment. Add chopped herbs, kefir, egg and vegetable oil. Pour in flour, baking soda, add garlic and chopped bell pepper.

  • Mix everything well. The dough should be slightly thicker than for the pancakes. Add flour if necessary. The dough looks very colorful and exudes an indescribable aroma.

  • Preheat a grill, pancake maker, or skillet. Lubricate with vegetable oil. Lay out the dough, flatten. I decided not to make large cakes, as they are tender and it will be difficult to transfer them to a plate. Close the grill and in a few minutes a wonderful flatbread will be ready. If the oven is in a pan, turn it over.

  • Very quickly, almost 20 minutes have passed since the moment I came to the kitchen, the food is already on the table!

  • The cakes are fragrant, very tender, viscous inside and slightly crunchy outside.

Oh, how tasty) I, too, when I saw the flat cakes, immediately fell in love with them. If you still cook them with CH flour or oatmeal, there will be a drop in general. It's a pity there is no cheese now, but I would cook it right away. Thanks for the recipe

Irina, oh how interesting! Did you buy goat cheese from Chechen women? The one who calls everyone "janym"?
Before moving from Almaty, we bought from her for many years ... But in Astana, there is no goat cheese ... But I successfully found milkmen with milk, sour cream and feta cheese, like mozzarella ..

Tatyana, I really hope you enjoy it!

I don't know, there is a lot of goat's cheese, there is also suluguni and sheep's and feta cheese. I'm just fascinated by this land. And what a fabulous mutton there is! I tried both kumis, and shubat, kazY, sur et, sudzhuk. I want to go there again.
Babushka
Irina, yes, Almaty is a wonderful city!

Granny, and in a waffle iron, such cakes will turn out well ?. will be filmed, what do you think ???
Babushka
AlenKa, if the waffle iron is completely smooth (not for Belgian waffles and not for waffles-hearts), then it may work.
Vinokurova
Nuuuuuuuuuuu, I wanted plump ...
Okay, I'll put the princess in line ...
Babushka
AlenKa, in a plump waffle iron, feta cheese will melt and stick in the pits ...
